Atmosphere was very clean, terrible service and food quality. We ordered 2 filets (medium rare, and medium). Both were delivered raw. Upon a recommendation, 1 came out medium, and the other well done (Grey throughout). Upon another recook, the steak was delivered medium well. This was unacceptable for a $50 steak. They made it right by comping the steak, and offering a free dessert, but it was a bad experience because I was finally eating after the entire table was already done. Each steak refire took a loooooooong time. This is be my last time eating at BigFire.

Our waiter, Kenny, was very friendly. Anything from the grill had that nice um... grill taste, including the steak, salmon, and cod. That's a good thing. Thank me later.

Bigfire has been our favorite restaurant since it opened. For years, it has been a must-eat every time we visit Universal, and we always recommended it to friends and family. Unfortunately, this visit was the first time we left disappointed.

The Smoked Old Fashioned has always been our go-to drink here, but this time it tasted far too sweet—more like drinking straight Knob Creek that I could buy at any store, without the balance and craft we’ve come to expect. Our waitress, Savana, was wonderful—very kind and attentive. She even brought our feedback to the bar and replaced the drink, but the second one was no different. The bar’s recommendation was to “leave the ice out so it doesn’t melt too fast.” Honestly, we’ve never seen such a small ice cube served with a whiskey cocktail before. In all our previous visits, the Smoked Old Fashioned always came with a large cube that enhanced the experience.

We also noticed changes in the food. Steaks now come with sauce already added, without asking for guest preference. We ordered medium, but they were all overcooked. Even our 10-year-old commented that the steak was both too salty and tasted different from before. The mussels were another surprise—served without the bread on top and without the signature sizzling sauce pour that used to make them such a standout.

Bigfire has always been outstanding for our family, and we still appreciate the welcoming ambiance and professional service. But the recent menu and preparation changes have shifted it from being an irreplaceable dining experience to just an “okay” restaurant. For us, that feels like a real pity.

The restaurant was something of a disappointment. Whilst the food was good the service was below average. My granddaughter was forgotten even though we asked for her food to be served promptly. We had to ask the server what was wrong and there was a delay whilst the food was cooked. Then her order was duplicated as was mine. Somebody in the server chain wasn't on the ball. The restaurant is very contemporary and large which detracted from any form of atmosphere.
The worst part was that our server spent quite a while leaning on the bar talking to his colleagues.
Then we were hit with a check for over $400 for 4 adults and two children. If we had chosen higher priced dishes it could have topped $500.
If you do choose to visit here be prepared for a high bill.
Will I return here is an easy question where the answer is ..... NO!
We have eaten in better restaurants at a competitive price.

The best Cobb Salad found in a steakhouse!
The steak was very good too, done medium rare to perfection. Paired with a bottle of Duck Horn Merlot. Rebekah our server sourced for a decanter to help the wine breathe. She was totally professional and personable. A great night with our grown up kids.

City Walk has a Great Vibe. But Bigfire Sucks Overpriced Left overs. The Ribeye and potatoes oh Rotten looked and tasted like a leftover meal. Supermarket Steaks. Such a disappointment. The highlight of the evening was our server Amin. His energy was awesome positive vibes. He apologized for the meal and I explained there was no need he's not the cook. Biggie sucks stay away.

Big Fire has to be one of, if not the best place to get a high quality burger. The burger is served with HIGH quality buns, toasted at the perfect temperature. The juicy and savory meat is MORE than a generous portion as it is 1/2 lb of straight cow. It is cooked to any preference you ever would desire. A slice of melted cheese, the color of orange fire is added on the meat. Next, comes the succulent, bright red tomato. You can tell by observing at it that it is grown fresh and grown with precise care. The next topping is the HIGH quality lettuce. When I read the burger on the menu for the first time, they use a special, crispy lettuce to perfect the burger even more. Lastly, comes the special sauce they use to make your experience 1000x better. It adds that finishing touch to god’s gift to us as human beings. The burger is finished with a char engraving on the top with its signature logo. To top it all off it comes with delicious parmesan French fries. This total comes to $24, which I find to be a more then fair price, for now, in my life I have found joy, inner peace, and a sign that maybe there is good on this planet. Thank you Big Fire, as I feel I have completed my journey in life.

I cannot say enough about the incredible experience I had here for my birthday! From the moment we walked in, Chloe, our server, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her hospitality was unmatched — she treated us like family and made sure every detail was perfect throughout the night. She was attentive, kind, and truly made us feel special.

A huge shoutout also to Kaitlyn, the manager, who was equally amazing. She was warm, professional, and made sure everything ran seamlessly so that I could enjoy my birthday exactly the way I had hoped.

I came in wanting to try the Pappy, and between Chloe and Kaitlyn, they turned it into a birthday experience I will never forget. The care, thoughtfulness, and genuine hospitality made this one of the most memorable celebrations of my life.

Thank you, Chloe and Kaitlyn, for making my night unforgettable. I’ll absolutely be back — not just for the food and drinks, but because of the outstanding people who made me feel so valued.

Our server Kristen was amazing! She gave us great recommendations for appetizers since we have never been there! The food was delicious and we had a great seat right by the kitchen. The view of the kitchen allowed us to see the wood fire oven. It also helps that the door to the kitchen was there so we can smell all the special smoke as well as get our food delivered promptly. My husband ordered the PB & J old fashioned which was really sweet and smooth. We shared an order of the sourdough bread with the butter and jam. My husband ordered also the Honey salmon which was so tender. I ordered the hearth seafood with a side of esparagus and it was so good! The only critique I have is that there was too much salt on the esparagus if you are someone who prefers less I would suggest that. It was delicious irregardless.

The dishes are on OK level only. There are 4 kinds of desert on the menu and we order two of them. Both of them were good even the ice cream. It is difficult to make desserts taste bad, no?

We sat at a high top in the bar area, as we didn’t have a reservation. Bar tender as our server was super nice and helpful.
I had the Elk Sloppy Joe, it was really good.
Since it was busy, as to be expected at the Orlando Universal CityWalk, it was relatively quiet being over on the bar side.

Food was full of flavor and great vegan/vegetarian options. I got the grilled cauliflower and baked Alaska which is torched at tableside.

We went for brunch on Sunday morning and it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Julissa was kind, informative and pleasant. Connie was super kind and chatted with us about what our plans were for the day. Everyone from the hosts to all staff was amazing. Highly recommend. My daughter said best birthday brunch ever. Thank you for making our meal a very special one.
