The food was delicious and service once inside was great. Our only complaint was that we waited for 30 minutes longer than our reservation.
I took my mother in law here and it was our first time. The waiter we had (I cannot remember his name) was very helpful, friendly and attentive. The ambiance was something out of a fairytale. The velvet chicken soup was stunning. Cakes and pastries were beautiful and equally delicious (took some home to the family)- I am a diabetic and there wasn't anything on the menu for me to eat but I was able to request a whole wheat bread with chicken salad in which they accommodated. The only thing I would say is that there isn't any options for diabetics and I know that I would not be the only diabetic to visit. Even if there was a mention on the menu as to what would be a substitution for diabetic needs as this is a disease that millions of people have and I believe it should be accommodated with options (even just one) in every restaurant. Otherwise, I and my mother in law absolutely loved this place and will return
BoardWalk Deli, located in Disney's BoardWalk Inn in the Epcot Resort Area, used to be called the BoardWalk Bakery until 2022. It’s essentially the same. They have no seating inside, but there are tables outside servicing basically everything if you are lucky enough to get one. (Good luck.) The Deli serves soups, sandwiches, and assorted baked goods for all three meals. Use your activated resort mug here. Like everyone else, we enjoy their Italian sub followed by a cinnamon roll shaped like Mickey Mouse. In a big rush or just want to avoid the line? Use mobile ordering on the app. The food always looks and taste good here, and it’s a less expensive alternative to many of the table service restaurants around the lake. Good food to be taken outside to eat in a nice atmosphere.

Although we had reservations had to wait 45 minutes for table. Restaurant was not crowded so no idea why we waited so long Many tables remained open through our meal. The food was served quickly some dishes were very spicy with the New Orleans influence. Desserts were great Atmosphere is beautiful. Enjoy!
The ambiance here is amazing. It's also pretty quiet, which is hard for a Disney restaurant to achieve. Top notch service, staff, cleanliness, etc. My rating is just good/fair for a few reasons. The prices are on the high side, especially appetizers and salads. We had a crab cake appetizer, which consisted of 1 crab cake and it was $27. The salads were also priced like this, so we didn't get one thinking is must be huge? The wine I ordered was not available....never had that happen...and I joked that I should get the next one up higher in price for the same price, but no response from our server. So, overall very nice....
We liked some of the entrees like the grilled salmon sandwich and velvet chicken soup. We also enjoyed the seasonal blueberry pie. However, the CAKE itself was very disappointing, dry and not flavorful. At this price point, we will not be returning.
We chose The Cake Bake Shop for lunch to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday, and it was the perfect choice for such a special milestone. Pixie dust and full of glitter! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. The space is absolutely beautiful — charming, upscale, and full of thoughtful details that make it feel like an experience, not just a meal. It created the perfect setting to mark an important moment in my daughter's life. The service was attentive, professional, and kind. Our server made us feel genuinely cared for and never rushed, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the celebration. The food was excellent — well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the table was impressed with both the quality and the portions. What stood out most was how special the entire experience felt. A 21st birthday is a meaningful milestone, and The Cake Bake Shop delivered an environment that made it feel celebrated, elevated, and memorable. If you are looking for a place that combines beautiful ambiance, great food, and exceptional service for a special occasion, I highly recommend The Cake Bake Shop. We will absolutely be back.
The cake bake place is a beautiful place. The decor is just lovely and the food very good and tasty. The servers are all very pleasant and our server, Colin was excellent. He had an amazing memory and knew all of the dishes and great suggestions for us. My only negative is that it's a bit pricey.
My girlfriends and I had the BEST experience here. We came to the Disney Springs location for my Bachelorette brunch and it was truly my favorite part of the weekend. The wait staff is very nice. The lunch food and drink were great (we did not get to try out any of the cocktails). Really the star of the show is the ambience. The restaurant is truly beautiful. I also appreciate that they took the time to write me a personal note to read when we arrived. So cute, I wish I could eat here every weekend. Thank you so much!!!!
The place is beautiful and the food is really good. A little overpriced, but so is everything at Disney.

Such a magical and beautiful place. Went there to celebrate a special friends birthday and everything was perfection. It did get a little pricey but the ambiance, decor, service, food made everything worth while. The location is great too for a nice walk after a great meal.
The service was amazing and the food was great. Value was decent. I wouldn't pay that all the time but I will def be back for those special occasions. However I have to give it to my server Dante! He went above and beyond!
Our waiter was OUTSTANDING. The Cake Bake Shop made my 4 year old birthday brunch a core memory. Thank you!
Our breakfast visit to Cake Bake was awesome from start to finish. Our reservation was during the Disney Marathon, which ran right by them. That made getting there a little more difficult but still certainly worth the adjustment. Our server Chris was extremely helpful about the food/drinks and even the history of the The Cake Bake. As we live in Indiana, I was already knowledgeable of the story but made for great conversation. We actually live about 8 miles from either local location. We started with the Brioche bites which are just about the best thing to get ever!. Highly recommend by Chris and we had eaten them on previous visits so certainly wasn't going to pass up this opportunity either. I had eggs benedict, my wife had the breakfast sandwich and my son had the absolute largest plate of fruit I had ever seen and sausage links that are also very large and fantastic in flavor. The cakes are awesome as well but we skipped them this time since we were going to Hollywood Studios after breakfast. Of course we can always get them at home as well. Don't miss the opportunity for a fantastic meal at The Cake Bake.
Do not mobile order here — you will wait an obscene amount of time while the cast members stand around.
