The atmosphere was cool, the staff are friendly, the manager checked on us a couple times. The food is definitely not what it should be. Everything is spicy except the patties and the oxtails. The oxtails were salty, some cabbage salad that came with it taste like straight vinegar, my friend liked the wings but has a kick to it, her daughter liked the curry chickpeas and my daughter liked the brown stew. That brown stew is spicy. The frozen drinks have no liquor. Food stop serving at 930 and then it turn into a nightclub.

Jamaican vibes and island cuisine in a laid-back, reggae-filled setting. Live music and Bob Marley memorabilia make this place an experience, not just a restaurant. The jerk chicken is a standout. Whether you’re a Marley fan or just want tasty Caribbean flavors, this place hits the spot.

This place is so cool, amazing music as well as amazing food. Our server was so nice and had a lot of great advice on how to go about the different Universal parks. Would totally recommend going here at least once if you are visiting the parks

The service was so quick and the food was so delicious! Our server Tony told us all about the food we were eating, gave us recommendations, and even shared his own stories about the food. The live music was also so wonderful and I cannot wait to go back and bring the rest of my family!

Absolutely excellent experience at Bob Marley’s! The live music was phenomenal—such an energetic, feel-good vibe that instantly put us in vacation mode. Our waiter was incredible—you could tell he genuinely loved life and what he does. It made the night even better.

We ordered the sampler with jerk chicken wings, fried yucca, and beef patties… and honestly, I could’ve eaten two of them. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Between the music, the food, and the atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit at CityWalk. Can’t wait to come back!

I took my dad out for Father’s Day, expecting to celebrate with great food and good vibes—but what we experienced was one of the worst dining experiences ever. We spent over $140, and everything was a mess from start to finish.

The food was extremely salty, the fish had no seasoning or flavor, and the overall quality was just awful. We didn't even get water until half our meal was done . I kept having to ask for the drink that I ordered it looked like the waiter forgot to put it in because they were so overwhelmed and there was no one in the restaurant probably a little over 10 people. It’s heartbreaking to say that because we chose this restaurant in honor of the great Bob Marley, hoping for a taste of our culture—but this was far from it. My family drove over 8 hours to be here, and I was embarrassed.

Despite how bad the food was, we still ate it out of respect—we don’t believe in wasting. But even my dad, who’s always easygoing, said at the end of the night, “This is the worst experience I’ve ever had.” That says a lot.

The service made things worse. When I told the waiter how disappointed we were, he simply walked away with no apology, no attempt to make it right. That level of disregard is unacceptable.

This place desperately needs authentic Jamaican cooks and staff who truly understand hospitality and how to represent our culture with pride. This experience was not just disappointing—it was a disservice to the very legacy the restaurant claims to honor. I will never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your hard earn money and go to a place who appreciates you and has good food and customer service.

FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | FIVE FIRES 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

If you’re looking for real Jamaican flavor that punches you in the taste buds and doesn’t apologize—Bob Marley – A Tribute to Freedom is where it’s at!! One love, one vibe, one unforgettable meal 🌴🎶

I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and let me tell you… this wasn’t just spicy—it was a whole experience. Most places say “spicy” and bring you peppered ketchup. Not here. This dish came out swinging like it had something to prove! 🥵 From the first bite, it was like riding a raging bull made of heat and flavor. And I held on tight for a glorious 8 seconds… which is about how long it took me to absolutely demolish that plate. SO GOOD I felt like I grew dreads and started speaking Patois by the end. 10/10 flavor explosion 💥🍗🔥

And here’s the twist… my daughter who hates spicy food? She got the Brown Stew Chicken and couldn’t put her fork down! 🍴 She kept saying “it’s spicy, but I LOVE it!” And for her, that’s unheard of. Major win for expanding her spice game! 🏆🌶️

My other daughter went with the Rasta Pasta—creamy, a little spicy, and full of Caribbean soul. She was vibin’ with every bite. Big smile, clean plate. 🍝😋

Wife had the Curry Shrimp and she’s usually a “save half for later” type. Not this time. She finished everything—not a grain of rice left behind. Flavor was mild, rich, and totally irresistible. 🍤💛

And let’s talk about the vibe—reggae music playing in the background, open-air feel, and a staff that made you feel right at home. 🇯🇲🎶✨ It wasn’t just dinner—it was a mini vacation. Total sensory journey.

Final verdict:
✔️ Flavor: Mind-blowing
✔️ Atmosphere: Chill and vibrant
✔️ Service: Top-notch
✔️ Worth it? 1000% YES!

We’re already planning our return trip. Next time, we’re bringing reinforcements—and maybe a steel drum too! 🥁🍹🌴

We had the jerky chicken and the ital soup. Quite spicy for us but amazing flavors! If you come ~9pm on the weekends there’s fantastic live music too! We were lucky to be seated right in front of the band as well. Couldn’t ask for a better date night.

I really enjoyed the fried cauliflower with jerk sauce. It came with some side sauces that were also very good. I wish the portion was a bit bigger.

I’ve been to Universal City Walk multiple times and never really been here. So glad we stepped in for some great cocktails and a little snack. All the food has that flare. So good! The bartender was really informative, helpful, knew the menu well, and had some great suggestions. Really cool vibe here as well. Was super fun to go here before Halloween Horror Nights.

Let me start by saying that it's definitely a vibe. Something about dinner under the stars that soothes the soul. The music , service and drinks were amazing. We tried this soup called the Tench Town Rock Pepper Pot Soup..I imagine that's the soup one should eat to clear out your sinus because It was spicy but none the less good!! ?.. We ordered the beef patties, I loved how they were stuffed so well with filling. Now, the entrees is where I took points off. It didnt quite hit the mark with seasoning. I ordered the Mahi with mango salsa and my husband ordered the jerk chicken that came in a sandwich (coco bread). My dish was lacking in the rice and peas as well as the salsa. With the mango salsa, I was looking more for a tart but I think the Mango to tangy ratio was off. It gave more mango than anything else. The chicken that my husband ordered was dry and bland, that's the same for my rice and peas ?. We would probably come back but we would just stick to the appetizers next time.
