Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant!!! After waiting an hour for our food we asked for a refund and then they try to explain that they had a large catering order. large catering orders should not be taken if you don’t have the time or staff to handle it without ignoring every other order! The owner then came out and was extremely rude. She would rather argue than make it right for the customer.

Terrible service over an hour wait for take out order. Owner came out with excuse after excuse when her employees lack communication. if one was made aware of the time wait or being backup short staffed then you could understand a longer wait but staff but more worried about people sitting at tables. At one point over 5 people waiting in area for take out order. Wouldn’t waste your time in this establishment which is unfortunately because the food is great

I came from the opposite side of town to pickup these wings. I ordered them online and the place was empty. The hostess said the wings were not ready in an EMPTY restaurant. She also said that it would only be two more minutes. Well 10 minutes later the wings are still not ready. Now they give this ridiculous story about the online clock is not synced with real time. This will be my last time going to this disorganized establishment. STAY AWAY!!

Yesterday afternoon I waited 25 minutes for my online order even though the online confirmation said it'd be ready before the time I actually got there. I ordered seasoned fries and extra dipping sauces, among some other things . I got regular fries, no dipping sauces and the food was lukewarm. Called them back to let them know and see if I could get a credit for the extras I paid for but didn't get. Was told a manager would call me back, but I have yet to receive that call. Will not be going back.

I've been eating at this restaurant for over 7 years but unfortunately it's not like what it used to be The food is not as good as it was. I used to love the soy chicken but for some reason the taste is completely off now.

Disappointing Experience – Quality and Service Still Lacking

I had avoided this location for quite some time due to the poor service and inconsistent food quality when it first opened about six years ago. Recently, I decided to give it another chance since it was on my way home and the reviews seemed to have improved. Unfortunately, nothing has changed or been improved upon in all this time.

I ordered wings, bulgogi rice, udon, and zucchini. The wings were overcooked, dry, and did not resemble the flavor or texture that Bonchon is known for. The rice was also overcooked and nearly burnt. The udon was the only dish that was enjoyable, while the zucchini is not something I would order again.

Customer service was equally disappointing. When I arrived, I stood at the front for several minutes without being acknowledged. Another customer, who was also there waiting to pick up a food order, appeared frustrated as well. After the hostess ignored both of us and chose instead to greet a large party that had just walked in, the other customer got up and voiced his frustration with the very poor service from the host. The entire experience felt unprofessional and dismissive.

When I got home and unpacked the food, the wings appeared burnt and tasted as such. If you’ve visited other Bonchon locations, the difference in quality here is immediately noticeable.

It’s disappointing that after six years, this location still struggles with both food quality and customer service. I would recommend visiting the Waterford location instead — the food there is consistently prepared, the staff are attentive, and your money feels well spent.

Came here to have dinner with my wife and to begin the service was slow. We came around 730pm and it was pretty empty.
We ordered quite a bit of food that was certainly not worth $60.
Corn dogs was small about 2 inches of cheese for $6 NOT worth it. The street corn tasted burnt and was very watery, not worth the 6$ seeing it was only 3 table spoons of corn. I had the chicken strips at first they brought me the wrong thing so I tell the waiter and she says it’ll be about 10-15. That was around 8:25PM. I didn’t get my chicken till after 9PM. AGAIN, NO one was in the restaurant but us and another couple. When my chicken came out I got chicken bites that they counted as a whole strip. NOT full chicken strips. Paying $17 for just chicken bites is insane. The food wasn’t even hot when it came out. My wife had chicken wings that barely had sauce on them. The rice was so hard I could have chipped a tooth. By far such a terrible experience I didn’t even eat there after waiting 40 minutes for my chicken bites. They closed at 9 and you could tell they were rushing us out so I felt so uncomfortable and asked for a box to take my chicken bites home and give it to my dog since they want to give me the scraps(left overs) of the night.. All I wanted was for my pregnant wife and I to enjoy our dinner as she was craving crispy chicken. This was certainly not the place to be at. Thanks Lexi for the horrible service and it should not take you a hour and a half to get people refills.

Wings were served were tough and hard and overcooked we can’t even eat it. Mostly coating and it was dry even with the sauce. Manager came out after employee Hilda let her know but manager did not do anything but just explained that it’s always like that and nothing they can do and walked away. Not even an apology or consider how things can be made right. Hilda, despite that, continued to offer us donuts as we were leaving and apologized herself. Thank you Hilda.

Korean style food that tastes amazing, good prices, friendly staff, nice ambience. The place is always packed because of how great the food tastes. Wish they'd open a location on the west coast.

Who charge $15 for an unsweetened iced tea with fruit syrup? Bonchon Orlando does. Well the food is good but the server didnt tell us how much those drinks are, not even written on the menu. We dont mind paying for a great tasting drinks as long as we are at least informed of the price.
