So disappointing, i’m Peruvian and was wanting a taste of home. Understandably we don’t have the same ingredients they do in Peru so don’t expect things to be identical obviously but wow. The pollo la brasa had no flavor at all it was as if they put a bare chicken on the rotisserie. Went back to give it another go same issue I also got the jalea and they were basically fish sticks. The owner is Peruvian too so I’m really confused how he feels comfortable selling this chicken.

A true gem of Peruvian cuisine!
From the moment you walk in, the service is warm and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The food is simply delicious each dish has an authentic flavor and you can tell it’s made with care. I tried the ceviche, lomo saltado, and causa limeña, and everything was absolutely amazing! The portions are generous, and the ingredients are super fresh. Without a doubt, one of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!

A great place, great atmosphere, great service. Live music on Saturday night really was the cherry on the pie.

Having your operating hours not match the hours listed online is very misleading and frustrating especially when someone drives far and is looking forward to the meal.

Brazas restaurant at Avalon Park was such a tasteful surprise. I was searching for a new venue to estimulate my taste buds and inspire me to write. As we strolled through Avalon, we heard a rock band playing live music in Spanish. My attention was caught. We gravitated to the place that was packed with people and decided to sit outside to listen to the music and order food. We ordered several dishes to share, and all I can say is that we received excellent customer service. Our waiter was polite, friendly and funny. The environment was great, and the owner was very much in tune with his customers, going around and interacting with them. Regarding the food, it was an out of this world experience. Flavors and textures exceeded our expectations. We ordered pionono empanadas as the appetizer, the sweetness of the ripe banana, and the beef made a wonderful contrast between sweet and salty. As a main dish, we had chicken chaufa, ceviche, and a seafood platter. Everything was tasty and very flavorful. A few days later, I was able to visit the same establishment, and the owner invited us to see his kitchen. The place was immaculate. If you have not tried this peruvian gem, you are missing out. They also open for lunch. I truly recommend this place. You will not regret it. There is another location at Orange Avenue.

Food is good 3/5, a little expensive to charge for a boiled potatoes with the sauce it was like 12$ but rice/chicken was good. Service though, the guy seemed like he was mad at someone or maybe cause he was working hard but I’m not sure. Even BEFORE ordering my drink I asked if the coke was from machine which it was a “yes” and I asked if it was refill which I got a “yes”. After 2 refills when finishing my food, I asked for another refill, the server said “you know I will have to charge you right”.Never heard in other restaurant that after certain amount of refills I will be charged and if it is it should be disclosed which it’s not and wasn’t before ordering. He wanted to charge me for one more refill. Also Music was a little too LOUD, to a point you had to scream to communicate with the person you went with.

First time customer. We have relatives from Peru and they are always looking for Peruvian food. We tried the Brazas Chicken and the Seafood Chaufa. The food was amazing. The location is small and can be noisy when the live music is happening (after 8pm). If you have tried this Avalon Park location we think you will be happy you gave it a try. There is a park near buy as well as many shopping locations. Make it a family experience.

Unfortunately it was not pleasant, the place has everything to be a good place. We lasted almost an hour without music because the DJ left and “I think the owner” couldn’t make it sound, and when he did he wanted to break our eardrums with a terrible equalization, the bar didn’t have liquors, not even Whiskey😱 or cocktails, just a horrible mixture of industry... I hope they can really improve, it’s sad.

Owner needs to learn what customer service is, and how to be polite. You should never yell or raise your voice at a customer.

The service was really bad. The waiter Alejandro refuses to provide service to part of our group that included a kid. The food that was ordered came an hour later and it was cold. I’m a big fan of Brazas but lately their chicken have been undercooked. Slightly red in the inner thigh and back area.
