Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches

Rarely give out reviews but this one is deserving. Return visit to Universal and Bread Box. Loved it two years ago. Not so much today . Hot Vegan Sandwich was soggy. Tater Tots too salty . Had to ask for ketchup which they give out sparingly and act like they are doing you a favor giving it to you. Tables are sticky from grease. Poor Service and rude order takers. Way to expensive for two sandwiches and a drink. Will not return.

Best quick service meal at City Walk! We walked in around 2 and the place was dead. We settled on a turkey pastrami and a crispy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and the employees were all so friendly and helpful. Would come here again in a heart beat, way better than what you can get in the parks and it was also nice to have a calm quiet place to take a break.

Bravo to this place for going above and beyond and making really great sandwiches. Thin sliced deli meat, very nice bread. Delicious. Filling. Good value for the price. Loved it and highly recommend.

I ended up coming here twice while spending days at Universal. Each experience was quite different. I would suggest coming earlier in the day vs towards the end of the day as the earlier experience and food was better.

I ate their Cuban each time. One lacked pork, but generally the taste was good. The bread was a little soft compared to other Cuban sandwiches I have had, but for what it was, it was good enough. On one visit, I had French fries, and on the other, I had tots. I preferred the taste of the tots over the French fries. Ketchup is rationed out, as you need to ask someone behind the counter for ketchup.

I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter, which she enjoyed. It was 3 pieces of bread and had lots of cheesy goodness, which makes for a delicious grilled cheese.

They had a couple of swinging bench seats, which were unique and fun for the kids to sit on.

This was a good option for a fairly quick meal. I would eat here again.

Truly Heartfelt Hospitality and Delicious Food!
I was told this place had good food at a reasonable price. I'm so happy I sought it out! It was a little difficult to find as it's not along the main drag of CityWalk, but a quick check on Google Maps got us right there.
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a fresh salad, the Philly Cheesesteak, and the Loaded Mac & Cheese. And of course, we finished with an ice cream float for dessert!
What truly made our experience special, though, was the kindness and accommodation shown to my son. He has special needs and special requests. The staff handled everything pleasantly and went out of their way to accommodate him as much as possible. This level of service is rare and deeply appreciated.
The service was fast, everyone was pleasant, and the dining area was clean.
We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a wonderful meal and for treating my family so well!

Kudos to Kisha- who graciously hooked me up with some pickles (my favorite food) despite there being no option to order a side of pickles. Made my whole day, and broke my bad luck curse!
I had the BLT and a fruit cup, AND my fruit cup had all my favorites (not just full of melons)

Went in late Saturday night, no crowd. Got a BLT - was happy to see they advertised it's made with Duke's mayo. It was good. Tater tots were too oniony for me, just personal preference. Shay at the register was great, she drew me a kitty cat oj my bag which made me smile! ❤️
