The food here is very good and service is nice. Owner is very kind and hospitable. Everything is hot and made to order. The building it self is just really small and stuffy, I’d agree it could use a declutter and revamp. But despite that the food is really good. Waffles and grits are my favorite.

The customer service was top-notch and attentive, and the food was delicious. Come on in and get yourself a plate of food from here. Reminds me of when I lived in Georgia and had family make home made soul food. Food is made to order, hot and fresh, full of flavor.

First Orlando experience after landing with a party of 8. 7 were turned off by the appearance of the restaurant. I led us in based on the food reviews. 8 of us left with rave reviews of the food that was an 12 out of 10! The owners wrote the book on service excellence and the entire party asked to go back daily during our week here! For our group, it WILL BE our FIRST STOP the next time we are back in Orlando! The shrimp n grits, the fish n grits and the chicken & waffles will all have you scraping the plate for more! Well done Chef...well done!

The place is very small and need to be revamped is the first that caught my attention. However, the host was very friendly and welcoming which is always a nice touch. The lemonade was good, a little too sweet for my taste. The grits was well done. The bacon was overcooked and French toast too soggy. Otherwise, it was decent.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I came here with my boyfriend to get the chicken and waffles and the chicken and fries , let me tell you , best fried chicken I’ve ever had, not to salty , perfectly seasoned. The waffles also tasted really good 10/10 for that as well. We got two large pineapple lemonades it was so good we had to get another before we left. 10/10 all around will be back. And the lady who served us super sweet , and super respectful, if you’re looking for that review to know if you should come here to eat I say eat here 100% you won’t regret it.

I'm really sad to have to change my rating, but this food has hit the floor since the owner stop cooking. The new lady that works there is rude and her food is disgusting. Like can't get my dog to eat it NASTY. I call first and see if the owner's going to be there before I waste my time or money.

In recognition of Ujamaa (cooperative economics) I visited this cute lil spot. The owner was awesome‼️Open only 3 years and offers some of my fav comfort foods. I had fish & grits. He offered tilapia but accommodated my request for catfish...ALL MADE TO ORDER‼️It was ?. So I've found another "go to" when I'm in Orlando...Yay‼️ FYI: Try the fresh lemonade too.
