Food isn't impressive, but some of the drinks earned them redemption. Typical things like a Pina colada were really good, but I definitely don't recommend the wine. The service is typically awful - 1/3 days did I ever encounter good service. The manager is not managing effectively, in my opinion, but the bartender is friendly.

Our server (Ruth) was awesome, she even noticed right away that I was given the wrong food from the kitchen. Our only complaint is that we wish that we had been informed of the service charge before we ordered our food.

Bula Bar seemed like a good place to enjoy the pool, watch sports and take a cold drink. On the other hand, the food is not recommended, at high prices and not so good in taste. Regarding service, my waitress was nice but she completely forgot my pizza order and when I ordered something different the food didn't take long but it wasn't what I ordered. The passion fruit smoothie was good and the Piña Colada was one of the best I've ever had.

Great service poolside! There’s seating in the restaurant area. It’s all outdoors. Servers come to your lounge chairs. We were all happy with the food and drink selections. The ambiance is calming and beautiful with unique trees.
The service is consistently prompt and friendly! We've been coming here for 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Colin and his sthat's have always. It's been engaging, informative, and entertaining! We sometimes joke the Bula Bar is our 'home away from home.' But truthfully, it feels like home because of Colin and his staff! The food and drinks are consistently good and tropically themed! We hope to come back for the next 20 years!!! A great big shout out to you guys! Thanks for making all our vacations here so memorable!!!

My family and I all agree this is the best food and service at Pacific Royal. Staff is so friendly and fast. Yes you’re going to spend a little more for alcoholic beverages here but they bring them out quick and they are genuinely kind. Plus your pool side in the sun and fun. What more do you want?!We all liked: pork and chicken tacos, turkey wrap, and HULI-HULI CHICKEN SANDWICH.

Service was great but food was of very low quality. The tomato soup was canned tomato sauce, heated up. No herbs, no cream - nothing was added beside salt and a dust of black pepper here and there. Grilled cheese that came with it was what you’d expect out of a deli. If you’re staying at the hotel, do yourself a service and plan eating somewhere else because the other restaurants within the hotel offer the same low quality food.
