My family and I were there yesterday Saturday . The food was horrible. They did not have tortillas , no chicken, and a lot food options from the menu were not available. The blueberries cheese cake super small and Awful taste. The restroom was super dirty . Please do go to that restaurant, it is a waste of time and money.

Dined at Burntwood Tavern in Dr. Phillips for Valentine’s Day and had a great experience. A delicious selection of food and drinks, paired with very friendly service. They have plenty of space to accommodate large groups, and the aroma from the wood-fire stove creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. A wonderful spot for a special evening.

Didn’t have a good time. We had a reservation at 830p and they were still pending the seating of those who had a 745p reservation. We didn’t get seated til 915p. But we knew we were going to be waiting a bit as it was busy at the 830p time. But once we got our call we asked if we could be placed in a booth and got an attitude from the gentleman who walked us to the table and made it feel like it was a problem to even ask even though at this point the restaurant has cleared out. Our waitress Michelle was not approachable at all. She took our drink and appetizer order and came back 5 mins later to see if we were ready to order. We told her not yet as this was our 1st time and wanted to really look at the menu and had an attitude because we weren’t ready. Once we were ready we waited about 15 mins more and yet she never came back. But she sure was walking and doing table touches and didn’t even look in our direction and would keep walking back and forth passing by us. At this point we waited 5 more minutes and decided to walk out as not only didn’t we get our pot stickers that shouldn’t take 25 minutes to make when the place is almost empty but for the waitress to not even bother with us at this point is wild.

Update 11/22/25:

Stopped into Burntwood Tavern in Dr. Phillips and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. Even though they officially no longer offer bottomless mimosas, the visit more than made up for it in other ways.

First, a huge shoutout to Lola, the bartender, who was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. She really elevated the whole brunch vibe and made us feel welcome the moment we sat down.

The food was excellent. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the hash browns were cooked just right, and everything came out hot and flavorful. I had the pepperoni flatbread, which was surprisingly good—nice crust, good portion, and great seasoning.

Since the traditional bottomless option is gone, we tried the spiked mimosa flight, and it was fantastic. Each flavor was refreshing and well-balanced—definitely worth ordering.

Overall, Burntwood Tavern still delivers a strong brunch experience with great service, solid food, and a warm atmosphere. Losing bottomless mimosas is a bummer, but with staff like Lola and great drink options, it’s still absolutely worth the visit.

Burntwood Tavern, if you are reading this, please bring back the Bottomless Mimosas! 🥂

This was our first time there. We sat outside because the weather was nice. It was a Monday night and things were slow, so the atmosphere was quiet, The host and server were friendly and attentive . The server offered suggestions when we asked her. We ordered the calamari , fish tacos and chicken picatta. The fish tacos and picatta were very good. The portions good for the price. We will go back to try other things.

Great food, great service and atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get a private room and it wasn’t super pricey. The dirty sodas were delicious and the food was even better
