Went in today and not a hello or good bye or thank you ! I was surprised. Customer service is the 1st impression of an establishment. Well that was one strike . Failed in that area. Secondly, service of just making coffees is very slow. Then the girl making the coffee asked me if we received our pastry, I stated now no , she told the cashier to get it. Not sure why she didn’t get it. Will not return.

I went to Cafe Coquí for the first time. My service wasn’t the greatest. The young lady at the counter seemed very overwhelmed and I noticed several drinks were rang up incorrectly. The lady making the drinks seemed annoyed with the customers. I enjoyed my food, not the atmosphere. There seems to be a lack of training and communication between the workers.

The food took a long time to come out, and it wasn't as hot as I was expecting. Ordered Avena as one of the items, and it was not close to the puertorrican Avena. No flakes and very watery. Also ordered the Avalon breakfast, which comes with an omelet, potatoes, bacon, and bread. The omelet was warm to cold, and the potatoes had very little flavor. The best item we got was the ham and eggs sandwich. Also, the parcha juice was water down too much. You can get better juice at BJ or Costco. The location has a limited capacity of seating 26, but it is very small. Also the French toast were made with regular bread and not the thick larger bread, it was missing the typical French toast soft thickness of the bread and the flavor of the coating that it was applied prior to cooking it.

I'm giving one star because it's the least I can give it! I found a hair in my coffee. I didn't want to complain so I wouldn't waste any more time there. Aside from the very poor service, I almost forgot to mention that I ordered a sweet to go, and they gave it to me in a bag. They weren't able to put it in a presentable container. I don't recommend it.

Had this place saved from Instagram and it did not disappoint. First, the people there are sweet as can be. The service alone makes you want to come back. I had the bacon, egg and cheese and the bread was amazing!!! My husband had the tripleta and he said it was the best sandwich! My kiddos had the rise and shine and the favorite sandwich. They both loved theirs. To drink we had the parcha juice and the coqui latte. Def recommend!!!! I bought a quesito, flan and tres leches cake to go. Had the tres leches. It was good. Will see how the other 2 taste.

I couldn’t get enough of this place. The food was delicious but the service was amazing and the place was cute and clean! I have been dying to go here for the coffee flights and let me tell you they did not disappoint! I had the affogato, the spicy Latina, butter ball and pistachios cold foam! Every single one was freaking delicious ! My favorite was the affogato second was the pistachio. I had a tripleta and my partner had a pastrami both were excellent. The tripleta had potato sticks and if your Puerto Rican than you know how much seeing that inside the sandwich made me so happy! Hoping this cafe has many years of booming business and if your are in the Orlando area definitely check them out!

Cafe Coqui has had slow service 4/5 times that I’ve chosen to go there. Even for pick up/to go orders. You’ll order your food and sit and wait for 2 sandwiches for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes.

The food is alright, coffee is good, pastries are meh. If you want coffee & food quick, go to the Colombian Bakery on the other corner.

Just to clarify- they have one cook in the back preparing all the food. Poor planning on their part. It shouldn’t take 45 minutes (and still waiting, by the way) to prepare two sandwiches. One of them is a cold sandwich, too.

Coffee with milk tastes like warm milk not coffee, as for the chicken and waffles, chicken was soggy and had no flavor. Breakfast sandwich had one strip of bacon and the sandwich its self had no flavor none zero. French toast was really good. Needed a lot of Puerto Rican Flavor. Will not go back, not worth the money.

Extremely disappointing. The place says it closes at 3:30PM on a Saturday. We walked in at 2:58PM and couldn’t order anything because the kitchen was already closed. We couldn’t order a coffee either because they cleaned the machine already. Why say that you close at 3:30PM when in reality you close at 3 PM?
Also, they seemed so uninterested to serve or welcome us in.
