The place is cozy and clean, the service is good, and the food is delicious Ecuadorian cuisine 🇪🇨. They have homemade food. At lunchtime, they offer a menu that includes soup, a main dish, and a drink for $16. Every time I’m working nearby, I go there to eat. Highly recommended!

Was in the area with family and decided to try Café Pintón EC — SO glad we did! The food was amazing and truly authentic. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and tasted homemade. The staff was super welcoming and made the experience even better.
Definitely a must-try if you’re in Orlando!

I’m from Ecuador and I was disappointed that the dishes weren’t the quality that I expected for the price we paid! Not sure if the cook was from Ecuador because the servers were from Colombia (even though we share similarities in our food is not the same). I have the ‘Seco de pollo’ and was okay, although is called seco it usually have a little more sauce. My husband had the “Shrimp ceviche” and didn’t come close in flavor, very bland. The rest of my family had ‘Moros con pollo’ and the price is not even in the Menu, so I don’t even know how much they charged me! The ‘patacones’ o ‘tostones’ were oversized and dry.-:( I won’t recommend this place if you want a real Ecuadorian food!

I truly love the food here. It’s flavorful and authentic, which is why I kept coming back. Unfortunately, after a few visits, I started to feel that customers are being charged for things that are generally expected at an Ecuadorian restaurant, on top of prices that are already a bit high.
For example, I ordered an encebollado and was charged when I asked for extra lime. I didn’t ask for two limes, just a little extra. As a customer, I feel this should be part of the basic expectation, especially considering that some customers don’t request lime at all, yet the price of the dish doesn’t change.
This last experience really disappointed me. I called ahead to order and asked how long the food would take because I was in a rush. I was told it would be “quick,” so I placed the order. When I arrived, I was told it would still take 15 minutes. When I asked why, the response I received was, “This is quick for us. If you want something faster, you should go to a fast food restaurant.”
I tried to offer feedback that could help in the future by suggesting that instead of saying “quick,” it might be better to give an estimated time, since “quick” can mean different things to different people. Unfortunately, this wasn’t well received.
Because of these experiences, I don’t think I’ll be bringing my business back. That said, the food itself is truly delicious.

Food presentation was good however food was bland no flavor and when we asked for juice we got frozen drinks that tasted like all ice. Service was terrible and they only had us as customers.

Great taste, a bit on the high end in terms of price. In my opinion, although the food is great if you know what they are selling, I do think the prices do not represent the offering of the menu for a restaurant that I think cater more to the Ecuadorian community than other communities.
If I look at Peruvian restaurants in Orlando, the food is great too but the prices are not that high for their Peruvian dishes which are also great.

Very disappointing experience. The employee at the front counter could not communicate in English, and gave me hard time to understand what I want to order and instead of trying to help or calling someone else, she responded rudely and told me I should learn Spanish.
Just a reminder this is USA not Venezuela. Don’t expect all your customers to speak your language.
Food looked really attractive but service was horrible. We ordered a plantain empanada and sweet plantain with cheese. Empanada was ok but plantain was cold. Then they took around 35 minutes to bring tha main dishes were cold. And actually the place was almost empty.

Our friends were visiting from Georgia, and they were in the mood for Ecuadorian food. I started following Café Pinton about a year ago and told myself, “Let’s give it a try.” The food was incredibly good. If you’re looking for authentic Ecuadorian food, look no further—Café Pinton is where it’s at!!
