I depend on this place. At least once a week I am blessed by the empanadas from this place. I don't know what I would do without this place. I come here in between classes and relax for an hour with a delicious coffee and a snack. I think it is the best place on campus value wise. You can get two empanadas for 6 bucks, 3 for I think 7. There's no where on campus where you can get this much food for the price. And the food is delicious as well. It is a step above the rest of the spots in terms of quality. I personally like the beef empanadas the most, but the chicken ones aren't bad either. Moving to drinks, and this is also were they are above the rest. I believe they have the best coffee on campus, rivaled only be Barnies. It is straight up just good coffee. I usually get the cafe con leche with mocha, and it has everything I am looking for in a cup of coffee. Its strong, while also being quite sweet. The atmosphere is pleasant, and it makes the whole tech commons smell incredible. Service is kind and on time. Overall, the best spot on campus, one of the highlights of my day. I love this place, give them a shot.

Normally okay but sometimes the workers just dont give a damn... I was the only customer in the place during a lull recently. I ordered a cafe con leche with sugar, and the barista didnt even stir the drink. It was bitter at the top (leading me to believe she didnt add sugar at all) but then way too sickly sweet at the bottom. There wasn't a single other person in line, so no reason to rush... I hate to be petty but that's just negligent.
I would give 5 stars for the quality of the coffee and food, but 1 star for the price. It's funny how you can go to other Colombian Cafes and get a coffee, buñuelo and pan de bono, for the price of one coffee at Café Bustelo. Please lower the prices a bit

Overpriced, paid 12 dollars for 2 pan de Bono, an empanada and a soda. That’s about 5 dollars in other cafeterias. Also, the pan de Bono’s are cold inside. Horrible!
