Excellent but expensive. We loved the artichoke appetizer, bread and olive puree and balsamic/oil, fresh catch and lasagna.
Restaurant is clean and nicely designed. Service was very slow though our server apologized for it and said he had an issue that he was trying to resist another table( still I think for an upscale restaurant that they try to be, they should have had others immediately take over and help out). Cocktails were not properly made, we had manhattans and they were not stingy with bourbon but the mix was not property done and tasted weird. Food wasnot cooked professionally. Wagyu steak didnot taste like a wagyu meat cut and lasagna was extremely salty. They charge and design their menu as upscale restaurant , so I think I will try another place for that price.
Staying at Rosen Shingle Creek, we were expecting a better than average experience and we definitely got it. Food was first class as were the cocktails. We had a terrific server, we had let her know that our party of four needed to be at a concert in the resort in an hour and she delivered. All with a nice smile and very polite and helpful. Portions tend to large so go hungry. Great place to eat Italian cuisine. Noise levels are good also, easy to have a conversation.
A great evening at Cala Bella. Our waiter Eric, was excellent. His dining recommendations were ‘spot on'. The oxtail fettuccine was delicious and my pizza was perfect. I have a shellfish allergy and I was impressed with care and concern both the host and chef expressed to ensure my dinner was ‘safe'.
Outstanding service and fresh, delicious Italian food. Large portions too. Enjoyed it greatly.

The lamb was delicious! The dish was served with beans and mushroom, and the sauce was a great touch. Highly recommend.

Likey one of the best restaurants in Orlando.
I had the Ox tail fettuccine and my wife and the wagyu lasagna. Both were divine. The staff was great with recommendations and very friendly. 10 out of 10 must try.

Food was ok- some dishes like the scampi was outstanding, others like the cheese bites arrived cold and were not pleasant to eat. Service was good but at times felt rushed to turn the table despite us having a large party. Overall was a decent experience for a hotel restaurant.
Great experience, with great service and excellent food. The ambience was exceptional with a quiet, not rushed dinner. Everything came out perfectly timed and we never felt rushed to finish one course to get the other. The only critique I would have is it a very limited menu, which I think they could expand a little. Otherwise, great restaurant and highly recommended!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the private room at Cala Bella with 41 guests, and overall we had a truly wonderful experience. The service was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the entire evening.
Dinner did run a bit later than expected, so we unfortunately did not have time for dessert since we had to head down to the pool bar for our welcome party. To be fair, we were running about 15 minutes behind schedule ourselves, and we were giving speeches, so I believe the team was being respectful and waiting to avoid interrupting us. In the end, the food was absolutely worth the wait. Everyone raved about it! We started with charcuterie boards, followed by salads and entrée choices of Wagyu steak or chicken Parmesan. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared.
The cost was definitely higher than anticipated, especially once alcohol was added, but the quality and service helped justify it. I would also like to mention Alison Tomaska, the Food and Beverage Outlets Sales & Catering Manager, who helped us book both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. She was very kind and helpful throughout the planning process. I felt as though she really let us customize our menu, which was amazing! The only small issue was that her email responses could be a little slow at times, but everything came together perfectly in the end (I was also a stressed bride that wanted answers lol). Our welcome party at the pool bar was also a hit. The location was perfect and everyone had a great time. Thank you so much to the entire Cala Bella team for helping make our wedding weekend so special. We are very grateful and would definitely recommend hosting events here.

Food, Service, and Ambiance were fantastic. I highly recommend. The Pumpkin Ravioli was by far the most complete and flavorful dish, which says a lot considering all dishes were top notch!
always one of our favorite spots when staying at Shingle Creek. They stay open late so it’s perfect for after a long day of traveling. Bar staff were awesome with drinks and food being perfectly made.
