This is a nice and relatively expensive restaurant, so I’m reviewing it against higher standards.Service: Our server, Mo, was very friendly, attentive, and personable. The time gap between appetizers was way too long. Not our server’s fault, she kept letting us know she was checking.Atmosphere: the scenery is beautiful and the weather was great for a pretty sunset.Food: They have a prefixed menu where you select an appetizer, entree and dessert. The sushi appetizer was great, but the portion was very small. My lamb was likewise very good, but a pathetically small portion. My wife and mother in law both had fillet, but both of theirs were way undercooked. When the server came by, we didn’t even have to say anything, she could see. They brought out new steaks. One was fine, the other was way overcooked this time. We had asked for medium well. We appreciated them offering to adjust the bill, which would have made up for it, if I hadn’t left hungry.

This restaurant is over priced and not worth the mediocre quality of the food and drinks, I think that the high ratings are only from people that go once. Overall it was ok but not worth it for the price or quality, We visited for my wife's birthday, she order steak And moscow mule, the Moscow mule test like water and the stake was over cook,We returned the food and we never received the credit when we pay.

The food, incredible. The fireworks during dinners incredible. But the real gem here, is server Walter. Words can not describe our experience at California Grill, but I’m going to try. Because of Walter, the overall experience was magical. It was like Walter was in our head and knew exactly what we wanted and even suggested. Example: I’m a huge coke drinker (don’t judge me). This man was in my head and knew to bring me two cokes because I go through them so fast. Just was just perfect, and made myself and family feel so welcomed. If you come here, you NEED to ask for Walter, you’ll ask for Walter if you want top tier service with a laugh. Thank you Walter!!!!

What a wonderful place to eat. It's totally worth it to leave the Magic Kingdom for a while and walk over here to eat. Keep your receipt and come back at night to watch the fireworks. Make your reservations now.

I wish I could’ve enjoyed this dinner more but it started when we were seated at our table. My view was the kitchen and server station and my husband’s view was the one window that was covered with some film all over it. We ordered our drinks and dinner at the same time and we waited for 30 minutes before our server came back to the table to find we never received our appetizers. Our reservation was at 8 pm and everyone was out watching fireworks and we still had no food! My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the fish. When we finally received our food my fish was over cooked and my husband’s steak was rare. The manager, Daniel, finally came to our table to check on us. It is now 9:30 pm and we were tired and just wanted to leave at this point. He asked if I wanted something else to eat or for the kitchen to cook the steak again. When we told him it was too late for us, he took our plates with only a couple of bites taken. He came back with the check and said that they covered our drinks, we each had one, and our appetizers since it was their fault but we had to pay the remaining bill because they offered to remedy the situation. So we paid $160 for dessert! Makes perfect sense. Will not be going back here again.

Service was absolutely amazing and the restaurant had an amazing view and fireworks experience. Unfortunately they were really heavy on the salt. We had several dishes and all had a significant amount of salt, that it was hard taste the actual food itself.Great selection of wines and cocktails though.

We have been to the California grill many times. Now they have a fixed menu. We were there April 19. The server was super friendly but the meal ticket times were absurd. 1.5 hours to get our main course. Both filets were petite and over cooked. I shared with the server that they were overcooked but I was not going to worry about it since it was now 10:30 at night. We got our deserts boxed and just leftAll in all our worst experince at the California grill. It needs to be perfect for approx $730 for four people.. just over priced, and poor execution Felt like a turn/burn that nightAmbience is always nice …… but we were tucked in a corner facing Epcot. We asked if another table was available. They said we would have to wait…. Our reservation was 8:15 and they were already 25 mins behind seating us. So we elected not to wait longerSad day at this restaurant

The place and food overall was really good, nice fancy place. The waitress we had was very nice but the food took forever. We were probably there for about 2 hours total which is obnoxious for a place like this and the pricing of the food. We ended up leaving with our dessert because it just took way too long to get the food. I don’t think this is normal for any other night but I’m just sharing me and my s/o experience. We had a party of 4 seated next to us that arrived probably about 30 minutes after us and they ended up getting their main entree and dessert and check before we even got to our own dessert (mind you, it was just me and my s/o so a small party of 2 and we got our food wayyyy after they did). The waitress apologized and gave a discount which was nice but honestly a genuine apology from the chef would’ve been enough for the both of us. Overall this could’ve been a 5/5 experience but the service was a huge inconvenience.

I don’t know if I can call this spot a secret gem because I know it’s popular but I don’t know anyone who goes here when they’re in Disney and it confuses me. Maybe it’s the price point or that it’s not as kid friendly as other places, but I genuinely love coming here. The views are great of course, but I do wish they’d work a little harder are asking people not to push past you to take pics at the windows. We had the perfect view, so I get that part, but this woman legit asked us to get up from our food so she could take pictures with the fireworks. Then she acted like when we were rude when we said “oh sorry, we’re eating right now.” If we just had drinks maybe I’d have done it but this isn’t Influencer Grill. It just felt weird having to deal with that. But otherwise the food, service, venue is great.

5th visit this March, reserved around the fireworks, and the service was so good, food, feel, everything - was the best it has ever been. Sashimi app, the pieces were better than anything I've had in the city in the past few years.
