Canvas Restaurant & Market

My wife and I have been long-term customers of Canvas, since we moved to Laureate Park in 2018. Last year we dined at Canvas for Thanksgiving and had an enjoyable meal. So we returned yesterday for a Thanksgiving dinner. This time, the Thanksgiving dinner was tasteless. Turkey slices on steroids, tasteless mashed potatoes (how do make potatoes loss their flavor?), tasteless stuffing, raw string beans, tasteless bread. The wine was okay, but expensive. Canvas Restaurant ain't what it used to be, not so long ago.

From the Hostess to our server, Great service. Jim was very attentive. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Overall great experience for my party.

Everything was great!food, service,ambiance. Our server, Chris, was very nice. This time we ordered double mussels dish! They are really great!

Great food, excellent service. Casual and comfortable environment. Great place to unwind after a busy day.

Very noisy. Wait staff dragged chairs around in very noisy manner while we and others were dining. Waiter forgot to put in my friend's order so I was almost finished when their dinner was served. All in all a very unpleasant experience.

We love Canvas and their food is excellent. The only problem this time we felt we were being rushed out of the place. No offer to order another cocktail and asked about dessert while we were still eating our meal. Many open tables so there was no need to be rushed. Never had this issue before and we will go back.

Food was delicious. The server was amazing. She went over the menu. Her name was Asia and overall it was a clean restaurant and food came out pretty fast.

Went to Canvas to celebrate my birthday and Kristina was our server. She was very friendly and very patient with my large group of family members. She provided us with some good recommendations , she was constantly checking up on us and filling our glasses with water. She made our night even better with her amazing service! The food was delicious and it came out quickly. Heather the manager even came by constantly to check up on us as well!!

Our server, Ryan, was great for our party of 10. Very helpful with suggestions for food and drinks and very attentive. The restaurant also accommodated us with bringing in a cake and kept it cool and brought it to us at the end of the meal. Location is great, ambiance is trendy and food is great.

I've visited this place a few times over the past three years, and each experience has been different. This time, it was by far the worst. If you experience bottomslips after 90 minutes, they refuse to sell you any other type of alcohol, even though you'll pay for a bottle or even a drink from the bar. They also rush you to order food. To top it off, when I ordered a cortado, they brought me a cappuccino mug filled with just coffee and milk. They have Foxtail at the entrance, which makes a really good cortado.

Our server was not attentive and when we received our food several of our dishes were cold. Not too sure why that happened. The food tasted good but cold eggs and biscuits and gravy really irks me.

Took a while for our table to get a waiter, food was pretty good. Just make sure you double check your check. The suggested tip amounts were incorrect, I took a photo to prove it. Our bill was $101.18 and the suggested tip amounts were 18% - $30.60, 20% - $34.00, 22% 37.40. I think that's plain rude!

The outdoor screened in area was beautiful, the food was great, and our waitress was amazing, although I'm awful because I forgot her name. Inside was very pretty too, but it was louder

Matthew was amazing taking care of us on the patio. It was myself, my husband and in-laws. We had such a wonderful time and Matthew made it even more special! He was so kind and gracious. Thank you. We'll be back.

Always a good experience eating at this restaurant. Only recommendation is that they should bring back their Chicken Sandwich.
