We’ve had dinner here and it was good, the food was tasty and plenty and the setup of the restaurant allowed for a less crowded atmosphere than the number of guests would have suggested usually. Beware: if you’re here for a character experience, then go for breakfast and not dinner, as dinner no characters appear. Price wise, compared to what is offered, it is on the expensive side if you’re not on the dining plan, but still within the Disney reasonable range if you’re really hungry. All in all it was a good experience and I’d consider coming back.

Our waitress Anna Marie from Michigan was the best. She set the tone for the whole meal. It was my Birthday so my wife wanted to make it special. The food was truly great and the Chef also prepared an extra dish of buttered, saffron infused Mussels for us. (It's a paid add on.) I tried the coffee grind roast beef for the first time too. It was excellent! We received drawn butter for the Clams etc. My cocktail was perfect, and the icing on the cake (literally and figuratively) was the mouse cake, Happy birthday song and birthday buttons. Thanks for making my day extra special. I would recommend the Cape May Seafood Buffet to anyone. Thanks, Ralph, JoAnn and great friends Fern and Suzy. Peace, Ralph 🇺🇲 🙏 🎂🍸🦐🍤

Date of interaction 10/01/2025, I want to give a huge thanks to Michelle (from New York but didn't remember hometown). She was my waitress that day and she was very informative on the character meet and greets during breakfast, as well as the buffet. I told her I really wanted to meet Donald, as he was my late wife's favorite character.

During breakfast she made sure that my POG juice was was always filled and that I was satisfied with my food. She was there to take pictures during the character interactions, as I was alone.

When Donald came around she was there to make sure she caught the interaction and take pictures.

Now huge shout out to Donald Duck that day!!!!! I had a picture of my late wife attached to my bag and I told him, he was her favorite. He took the time to sit down and gesture to her picture and allow me to tell him about her. It was such a emotional moment for me. He allowed me to hug him endlessly. I will always treasure this moment.

Back to Michelle. I paid my bill and left and sat out in the lobby of the resort. Along came Michelle and who I assume was her manager. She handed me a stuffed Donald Duck and said it was from Donald and Daisy, to honor my wife's memory. This was truly a magical moment.

The MDE does not allow to personalize a cast compliment, it's a digital compliment response. I left one for her but would be remiss if I didn't find another way to thank her and Donald.

I will be returning to this character dining in the future!!! Thanks Walt Disney World!!!

Fantastic character breakfast!
Buffet food was amazing
The character interactions were great and didn’t feel rushed. They also had a cute dance party with all the kids every so often.

We’ve eaten at a lot of Disney resort restaurants. This is one of our favorites because we thought all the food choices on the buffet were actually very good. We were surprised that our favorite was the salmon. Lived thy e tangy sauce on top! And I loved the ribs too. Everything was good.

What a fabulous meal! Brandy and Helaina were so attentive and friendly. When Brandy found out I am vegan she produced a huge guide to all of their plant based options. This made my dining experience feel so inclusive and the food was absolutely delicious. They weren't kidding about those chocolate chip cookies! I also got to meet the Assistant Sous Chef, John Bryan and he brought me fresh rolls and non dairy butter. Kudos to the Chef and Brandy and Helaina. We'll be back again.

Cape May Cafe at Disney is a special place for my family. It's not just about the food, which is a hit or miss, but about the cherished memories we've made there. I will always remember rushing to be 1st in line at the buffet and hunting for hidden treasures in the clam and mussel shells. Its a place that truly soothes the soul...
