I think this place gets a bad rap! It could be that we got it on a good night, but our experience was very good. The meals were delicious, the tables were all clean, the view from the back dining area is lovely, the staff was friendly. They do really only play 4 songs on loop, but it's a small thing.

In the Marvel area of the park, we had lunch at the Captain America Diner.
First, you will be asked to order via the Universal application on your phone, then by scanning the QR code on the table, your order will be served directly at the table.
The menus are not cheap ($20 for a complete set) but that’s OK. ✅
The pork hamburger sweater is very nice. ?

Reading some of the other reviews kinda makes me shake my head in wonder as to the disparity between their experience and ours. They did require ordering on the app or with Universal Pay - no big deal for me, I'm an app guy. The food came within 5-10 minutes tops (bacon cheeseburgers and fries for the kids and BBQ cheeseburger and fries for me. All three were super fresh and cooked wonderfully.
