This is by far the worst carribbean restaurant food I have had ...this is the first time here and will not come back or recommend to anyone either...its like an amateur learning how to cook after one spoon I throw it all away 60 dollars worth of food .
I was so looking forward to trying the Caribbean Shack drove over an hour to find this place, The house special fried rice... there was so much rice and 2 pieces of dry chicken, the cow heel soup was good a lot of cow heel but so much dumplings and cassava, i would like to have a little more vegetables like spinach to balance out the soup... I bought some black pudding for appietizer ... it look like red pudding instead of black pudding and the rice was boiled so soft it wasn't enjoyable at all. I bought 2 egg balls to take home, this is one of my favorite snack....the egg balls was so dry like it was cooked 2 days ago and frozen, it wasn't fresh at all. I was hoping to find a restaurant with some good home cook fresh Guyanese and Trinidadian food, i always feel disappointed after i leave.
Dietary restrictions: A lot less rice more vegetables in the soup

Saw ad on FB and thought I will check it out to support our local community. Plus was hungry. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Should have read the reviews before coming and turned around and left when no one else was in the shack and didn’t come in for the time we were. Ordered chicken fried rice which was stuffed in a small plate and over flowing. Rice was hard and flavorless and chunks of chicken which makes it hard to eat. Presentation was disgusting. Also, ordered doubles which was very messy (had better ones and more for the price elsewhere). Had to ask for fork to eat with. After a while came back with the cheapest packet of plastic fork (I don’t buy this kind and will not give anyone to eat with ). No good silverware when dining in. Had to ask for napkins, returned with the cheapest paper napkins that looked like it came from the bathroom. THIS PLACE IS DAYTIME ROBBERY. LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE ADDING TIPS BECAUSE THEY ADDED 18% GRATUITY AND 6.5% ORLANDO TAX. NEVER BEEN TO A PLACE WHERE THEY ADDED GRATUITY WITHOUT SERVING YOU. THIS PLACE WILL NOT BE IN BUSINESS FOR TOO MUCH LONGER BECAUSE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE. TIMIHRI is our go to restaurant when in Orlando for good food and service is always excellent. DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET AND CHEATED.

Carribean shack what can I say, highly disappointed, the advertising on social media is better than their food. There is absolutely nothing on the menu that’s delicious. The doubles? I mean there is a reason guyanese people don’t make doubles, the trini’s hold that down for a reason. I have never ate such a plain fry rice in my life. Dry and tastless. My aunties can cook a better fry rice in their backyard. The whole place has nothing carribean about it, not even a representation of what true carribean food should be. In the area of pine hills where there is a lot of carribean people, this place is a true disappointment and needs to better their menu. I don’t see this place lasting longer than december of this year. Kaiteur and Temihris has way better food in orlando. My suggestion is they need to fly a few aunties from guyana and help them save this place. My aunty just finish dabbing her bottom house and it still looks better than this place inside. The inside of mcdonald’s has more of a restaurant feeling than this place. Even the pepper sauce was tasteless, and how can you mess that up? My cousin was also with me and let me tell you that bai can eat out your whole house, that man will lick the plate shine shine, and after he got his food, even he was disappointed, we had to throw it right in the garbage. Just do yourself a favor and find yourself some real carribean food, this place is a fraud.
The service was good, however the veggie fried rice my wife ordered was disgusting.Pale in color and no veggies in sight.

Love it. Except that the Chinese chowmein had too much sugar, I’d go again for the eggball, black pudding. Yum.
