First Time Visit . Service was not good. Frozen drinks are very much watered down. Mac and cheese was greatly seasoned but lacked the cheese part . Greens were just ok just had an after taste. Chicken was ok but it’s blandly seasoned. I wouldn’t recommend. Not to mention we came specifically for the fried chicken just for them to say it would take an hour or longer to get fried chicken.
We were there (Marsh Rd location) for the first time today. Random choice. It was amazing. The food was flavorful and comforting. Portion was exactly right. The people were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere was calming and relaxing. We live 2 hours away and are not normally in that area. We will be going back—just because it is that good and well worth the drive.
I found Caribbean Sunshine Bakery while searching for a soul food restaurant since I was visiting from Philly. It's has a beautiful atmosphere and the food was perfect. Especially the fried red snapper and cabbage. I will definitely visit again when I'm in town.
