I told the server who is a female Spanish decent that my French toast came out cold she said oh well it came out 10 minutes ago she has absolutely horrible customer service will not be returning food is that good anyways
Breakfast before our flight was excellent. My wife loved the shrimp and grits. Tons of shrimp. I had the eggs which were very good. Service was excellent. Well done!!
Nice breakfast spot while having a layover. The service and food was š!
This has been an EXCELLENT experience with Nick and Meghan at the Orlando airport, Terminal C. The food was AMAZING and, their service went ABOVE & BEYOND. For us, the best option at terminal C in Orlando airport.
Food was good, nice options; Drinks $16 ea were good (Gin & Tonic, extra lime), for $5 more we could have doubled the drink.
No wait, solid table (so used to the ones that tip back & forth), good service. So much better than the airport fast food options
Our second time at the Cask and Larder at Orlandoās C Terminalā¦same happy server, same delicious food and drinks. The first time, she kept open long enough for us to grab a glass of wine even though they were closing. Today, she was working hard and still met us with a friendly smile for lunch. I remembered her demeanor immediately. This restaurant is blessed to have such a devoted employee as Meghan!!
The guy serving was really good. Nice dude, good at his job. The beer was just OK.
Good drinks and food. Bar area is nice.
Slow service and then the order was wrong
Good food. Good service. The shrimp and grits are good.
Restaurantji Recommends
Cask & Larder is located near the Food Court in the Orlando International Airport. Even though itās an open air style restaurant, the atmosphere is a small escape from all of the hustle & bustle of the airport. Thereās plenty of tables with charging ports which is a great convenience. The food was great! I had the C&L burger which was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The bacon jam was definitely the star of the show. I also went for a side salad instead of fries. The service was quick but they also werenāt āpushyā with trying to move tables. I appreciated that very much. I was able to enjoy my meal, charge my phone and kill some time in a somewhat relaxing environment. I couldnāt have asked for a better experience.
Oh my Godāitās happening. I ordered the CHICKEN & WAFFLES ($21) and had to start writing this while it was still melting in my mouth. The Nashville hot chicken? Crispy, spicy, tenderālike it just won a culinary Oscar. The Belgian waffle? Fluffy and golden like it floated down from a brunch cloud. Then the hot honey apple & red onion jam and whipped ricotta swooped in like flavor ninjas. Sweet, spicy, creamy, tangyābalanced like a jazz quartet on a tightrope.
Now⦠the only thing that didnāt vibe?
The young lady at the counter, i wouldnt mention name but blonde ponytail, with bangsābless her heartāfelt like she was followed by a personal thunderstorm. Not rude, but about as warm as a DMV printer in January. Iāve been greeted by cremation staff with more pep. Honestly, Iām starting to think she missed her flight two months ago and just started working here out of protest.
That said, my flight boards in 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I might order a second round. This dish slapped. Hard.
This was our second time dining here and 100% don't recommend choosing this place to eat nor if you're running short on time; it was just ok the first time but thought to choose here vs the fast food. My husband was excited to try the meatloaf and it tasted like a Slim Jim 𤢠I tried it because I didn't believe him and it definitely did. Absolultely disgusting. Service was poor; the server never checked on us after he gave us our drinks. Then showed up to see if we were ready for the bill. The fried avocado appetizer was the only thing we got that was actually good. I got the shrimp tacos; they were edible but not good by any means. Once we got the check, it took over 10 minutes for the server to come back. They could be short staffed, but there were plenty of runners helping out that could have been utilized at various points.
For an airport setting, I found the experience quite satisfying as a whole. The venue was very busy, a positive indicator. The servers were having a hard time keeping up. There is a separate bar abutting the tables. The bbq sampler was mediocre, and the burger very good. Dinks were as advertised. We charged our phones while eating.
Bagel breakfast sandwich with a side of grits was great. Very fast and good service.
