Char-don catering was fantastic!! The food was excellent, the staff super friendly and Charles was amazing. He was very responsive, never tired of our questions and even gave us helpful tips on things for my daughter‘s wedding that were completely unrelated to catering. He made the whole process go so smoothly and I am so grateful we chose him from the list of available/authorized vendors for our venue. He made the day extra easy and I honestly didn’t have any worries at all in regards to the cocktail hour, dinner, champagne toast, and cake service and then to top it off they packaged all the leftovers at the end of the night and sent it all home with us. I can’t recommend them enough!

I contracd with Char-Don to cater my son’s rehearsal dinner on the 4th of July. Their food was excellent and all aspects of the service was perfect. I worked remotely with Charles for all planning. Charles was very easy to work with, prompt and informative. Char-Don coordinated with the venue to cover set up and they were fully prepared before my arrival. You can have every confidence they will handle your event with professionalism and the food will be exceptional.

Felt like I was taken advantage of by Charles.I hired the caterer for a Celebration of Life. For those that have ever planned one, it's hard to know the guest count, so a plated food option wasn't really going to work. I talked to Charles about a Coffee Bar and some pastries for the room. We agreed on a list of items that would be included and a price. I also advised Charles that we had the room from 1-5 pm, 1-2 was to be for his setup, 2-4 for the Celebration, and then 4-5 was for cleanup.I arrived at 1 pm. Charles was there...but he wouldn't bring any of the food into the room until closer to 2 pm. By the time 2 pm rolled around, he was bringing in small quantities of what seemed like store-purchased cookies and cans of Coke. Since I was too busy greeting the guests for the Celebration, the last thing I wanted to deal with was catering issues. This continued throughout the event. Small amounts were being brought in, as he could get into the room, which was now standing room only.When I called him the next day, he complained that I had too many people. My contract was for 75 or 80, (originally he quoted 100 people). The guest book showed 80 guests. It was standing room only, but he knew that going in, which is why he had an hour to set up the food, which he didn't do.He didn't really follow the menu choices on my list, didn't provide the products we contracted for (Coffee bar was an urn), and then refused to provide me with credit. I paid in full, upfront. $1,000 for about a case of coke products and some boxed cookies. He stated that he had lots of leftovers, but they weren't offered to me. I would suggest finding a different caterer. One that stands by his products and delivers what he says. These are special days and catering plays a big part. This was a failure by Charles.

Lunch for 15!!!Each plate, fork and knife was counted to exactly 15 as well as rolls and brownies I would think they would add a few extra just in case. I was surprised that they did not provide chafing dishes w/ warmers to keep food warm and expected me to provide a cart to transport food into venueJust felt the quality was lacking!!!!

I am flabbergasted with the service and professionalism in f the catering service. No masks , no gloves, no explanation as to why they do not have gloves. And to top it off the, the catering server served our cake with no clothes, pulling the middle item out of the cake, while holding the side of the cake. This type of behavior is sickening.

Everything was absolutely delicious, our guests raved about how good everything was. Charles was great! He was very professional and polite from beginning to end.
