Booked a table for our 36th wedding anniversary. The place was clean, inviting, and the temperature was perfect. Our server was amazing. She suggested the "Bacon wrapped diver scallops" which we ordered and found them amazing (the touch of heat/spice was a wonderful surprise) We came knowing we were going to order the Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye for two. The manager delivered the entree to the table on a mobile cooking flattop, cut and buttered the steak, and checked to make sure the temperature was perfect. What a wonderful touch to the presentation. The steak was the best we have ever had and the side "au gratin potatoes" was incredible. My wife enjoyed the Blueberry Mojito and I had Gary's Cherrywood Smoked Old fashion which were both absolutely perfectly made. We ended the night with a Creme Brulee which happened to be the largest Brulee we have ever had and a cappuccino . It was perfection. Thanks very much for a wonderful experience! We'll see you soon.
Been going to Charley”s for close to 40 years. Still a great steakhouse with impeccable service from the bar to the table. Steaks are as close to perfect as possible with the citrus wood fueling the grill. Sides were delicious, the escargot excellent and the wine list tremendous. The only drawback is the price is getting very high. Will definitely be back.
My husband chose Charley's for his 66th birthday celebration dinner, we are from Bermuda but visit Orlando every year and hadn't been to Charley's in about 4 years. From start to finish the experience was wonderful. Special cocktails, delicious appetizers, high quality steaks cooked to perfection for everyone and outstanding service. We highly recommend and we will be back!
My husband and I love to come here every year. Unfortunately the service was awful this year A fine dining restaurant should have top notch service. Our waiter neglected the fact we ordered drinks, our water glasses were empty, no black pepper offered for entree after we told him how much we loved it on the salad. Our tenderloin was not melt in your mouth satisfying. We sat with our dinner complete and water glasses still empty for 15 minutes before our waiter checked on us. Prices have skyrocketed but service has nose dived.
Always a stop when we are in Orlando. Chad our waiter was AMAZING! His personality is awesome & his service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See you next time!
Meat fatty and grainy Too expensive Wine pour might be smallest I've ever had at a nice restaurant.
Charley's Steak House looked promising, but the experience was incredibly disappointing due to how unreasonably slow everything was. We had an 8:15 PM reservation and arrived on time, yet we were not seated until close to 8:45 PM. From there, the night only went downhill. Brian was a nice server but was very slow. The food also took an insanely long time to come out—well over an hour— which when my steak finally arrived, the server placed it down and said, “Medium rare.” I immediately had to correct him because I ordered my steak medium. After already waiting that long, this mistake was beyond frustrating. Because of the excessive delays, we didn't leave until close to 11pm and didn't get home until close to midnight, which completely ruined our evening and prevented us from taking advantage of Orlando nightlife. The restaurant may look upscale, but the service speed, accuracy, and overall experience did not match the expectations at all. Unfortunately, this was not a night worth repeating.
Overall food was good. Food service was slow and table service at the table was lacking. When you are there for 2 hours and you have to ask for another drink and ask for a soda refill. Kinda says it all...
It was, I daresay, an extraordinary experience. I found myself here by invitation, in the company of a rather amiable group. Out of the thousands of restaurant options one might bravely sift through in Orlando — many boasting impressively favourable ratings — I must confess that, left to my own devices, I would hardly have selected this establishment, tucked away as it is in a somewhat discreet corner of the city. Yet, what a splendid surprise it proved to be. The service was both gracious and swift, with attendants perpetually vigilant, as though anticipating one’s desires before they had fully formed. I sampled a sequence of delicacies from a pre-set menu prepared for our work meeting, and every dish delivered admirably: from the starters of shrimp and crab to the main course, a wonderfully flavourful cut of meat, handled on the grill with near-ceremonial precision, preserving the essence of a noble, natural steak. For the curious, I strongly recommend a visit — if not for the delightful dishes, then at least for the pleasure of discovering that, every now and then, one’s preconceived notions can be elegantly disproven by a well-executed meal in a charmingly discreet restaurant.
We have been visiting this location for over 10+ years. It has always been great but today it felt short. The service was great!!! Top notch, but the steak not soo good! The steak was over done and charred, and I didn’t want to complain but after tasting my son’s $80 steak at home it was worse than I thought. I wish I had tried it at the restaurant and brought it to their attention. Honestly not worth the money today!

My dinner was just ok and I got the same response from the other 2 people at my table , it wasn't worth the price , will not be returning !
Upon making the reservation, I contacted the establishment and inquired about the possibility of an early arrival. The woman I spoke with confirmed that this would be acceptable. My reservation was scheduled for 7:30, but I requested to arrive at 7:00, to which she agreed. Upon arrival, we were advised that we would be attended to shortly. However, we were not seated until 7:40 PM. We ordered calamari, which lacked flavor and had an unpleasant texture, similar to eating rubber. The steak we ordered was requested to be cooked to medium, but it was tough, and the asparagus lacked the flavor indicative of proper cooking.
We ordered the Wagyu steaks, and unfortunately three of them arrived significantly undercooked. The kitchen took them back, but when they returned, the steaks had been cut in half to finish cooking, which caused them to lose both flavor and quality — disappointing, especially at $120 per steak. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the lobster bisque was very good. One guest did mention feeling sick after the crab, which was concerning. I still gave the restaurant three stars because they're normally outstanding. It just seemed like the kitchen may have been off their game this time.
Always a great experience at Charley's. Porterhouse is the best steak I have ever had there.
Hosted a business dinner at Charley's and had a wonderful experience. Service was wonderful and I can't imagine how the food could have been any better. Great wine list and plenty of menu options. Definitely will be back!
