This place was a whole vibe! Even the sign in front creates excitement and expectation! They don’t let you down either. The environment was welcoming. Disney characters were everywhere! Chef Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, etc! They all greeted us, took pics, and danced with the children. The food was also amazing! Memories were definitely created!

It's always fun to do a character dinner. The manager makes sure that everyone sees the characters. Lots of varieties of food that both kids and parents would eat.

The price is STEEP but our experience was nothing short of amazing. We loved seeing the characters and the food was good.
First about the food. The food was edible for dinner but I have to say it was one of the worst buffets Ive ever had in my life. The entertainment with the fab 5 was wonderful for our autistic daugther. The server did an excellent job. However after paying $320 with tip for 2 adults and 2 kids I feel it was a ripoff. It was fun but I wouldn’t ever go back. Our experience in california at the grand disney hotel foe a character breakfast was far amazing and I would go back for that but not this.
Kid-friendliness: The fab 5 do a great job entertaining the kids. My daugther being autistic wanted more time with minnie and pluto and our server made it happen.

A lot of ppl online were down in Chef Mickey's, but we had a better experience than Topolino's. No wait and character interactions were great! It was also one of our quieter meals despite the reviews saying it was loud. Topolino's made us wait 30 minutes, served the food cold, and the most of the characters didn't stop by our table until right before we received our check. It was also louder than Chef Mickey's. So for us the win goes to Chef Mickey's!

Food was good, but better for young kids who want to meet characters
Yes this place is costly, just like everywhere at Disney. My kids were able to visit with 5 different characters which they really liked. The kids section has pizza, chicken fingers, tots, and other kid favorites. The grownups have a nice salad bar with shrimp, vegetables, olives, and pasta salads. Then there's a line with rice, chicken dishes, potstickers, followed by roast beef cut right there. The food was good, it's not the wilderness Lodge or the Grand Floridian, but good. The desserts were nice, and there's soft serve ice cream. Something that made it difficult was that there were no trays, they don't have them. So if you are getting food with multiple children, you are going to have a difficult time. They should have trays to make it easier for the whole family to get food in one trip.
