Tonight we had dinner at Chima Steakhouse in Orlando, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

Before being seated, we spent some time at the bar where Ramiro, the bartender, took great care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and set the tone for the evening with outstanding service.

Even on a very busy night, the manager made sure we were comfortably accommodated and arranged a table for us without any issues — which we truly appreciated.

Once seated, our server Nicole was absolutely exceptional. She was attentive, professional, warm, and consistently present without being intrusive. Even with the restaurant full, she handled everything with grace and efficiency. Her service truly elevated our dining experience.

Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

Party of 2 with a reservation for 9:30pm on Valentine’s Day. We arrived a couple of minutes early and had no issues getting seated in time. We were not greeted by a server until almost 9:45pm. It was busy, so it was understandable. Our server went over the different options and explained how everything worked. She took our drink orders (just water), meat temp preferences, and said she’d bring back a wine menu since we were interested in ordering other drinks as well. We then made our way to the salad bar (which was extremely limited in selection). You come a steakhouse for the meats, not the veggies so again no real issues yet. Upon waiting for the meats to come by, our table and the table next to us were repeatedly ignored. We were approached a total of 4 times by 10:30 (an hour since arriving by this point) and 3 out of those 4 times it was for pineapple. The table next to us had to speak up for us to get anything since they noticed we were being ignored. The server then came around and asked how everything was, and we were honest and said we were rather disappointed. She said she would make sure we would get what we wanted. Eventually, the lamb chops came around and we were excited to try them. Not only were they the smallest pieces of lamb chops I have ever seen they were also overcooked. The restaurant by this point was emptying out as it was the end of the night, so we had assumed our experience would be better. This was far from the expectations we hoped for. By this point, the couple next to us left as they felt the same as we did. Every type of meat that was brought was either medium or medium well, which is NOT rare/medium rare like we had asked for. Eventually, we grew hungry and gave into eating over done meat and whatever remained on our plates from the salad bar. As it approached almost 11pm, we went back up to the salad bar and upon sitting down realized that the wine menu was never brought. The server eventually came to check in on us again and we explained we were not happy with the service. She offered us a “free dessert” to make up for it. The dessert was delicious, passion fruit crème brûlée. Another few rounds of rather disappointing meats and more pineapple and we finally left. Just under $200 for 2 people with what was maybe 2 handfuls of food. Overall, this was extremely disappointing. This was both of our first times visiting this steakhouse and it is most certainly our last. I regret not taking up the issues with a manager while we were still there. Upon reading other reviews of the night, it seems like everyone enjoyed their time. I wish it was the same for us. Please be wary of visiting here, as it seems there’s no guarantees that your visit will be worth it. This is the first review I have ever written, because it was so terribly disappointing. Very shameful for a place with 4.9 stars!

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s day and everything was going well. Our server came by to make sure we were alright throughout the night but everything went down hill as soon as we sat down. When we were ready for meats we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come by with anything and multiple times they would just straight up skip our table and go serve the next one meat. It’s hard not to feel like we got scammed and disrespected especially since we made a lot of effort to drive an hour this place. My girlfriend requested certain meats as she likes medium rare to rare but we never got served what we actually liked. It wasn’t until an hour later after we sat down that they started coming out for more meat but at that point we were really fustrated and dissapointed. Even the couple next to our table got up to leave early and I could see they were fustrated too as they didn’t get served much either.
