Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster

My daughter, a chef and restaurant owner and I went to Christners for a special occasion. I had been given a gift certificate for Christmas. We take food reviews seriously. Bloody Mary..nothing special. Salad fine. Steak, overcooked, giant lobster tail, way over cooked, like rubber. Ridiculous price-$144. The sides were awful. Just frozen spinach smothered with non description orange cheese. Same with potatoes augratin. Neither dish had nutmeg or cream in it. Sides are one of the ways food critics judge steak house food. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

Outstanding dinner!! Food was delicious and service was top notch . The only con is the noise level in the dinning room we were in. Would have preferred a more intimate setting. We were celebrating our anniversary.

Had a fabulous time at Christner's! We were in the piano room which adds to a celebratory setting. So fun! Food was great and our server just fantastic! Could not have been better. :)

Our expectations were very high as we haven't been here in quite some time, but were very much looking forward to it. They did not disappoint at any level. Prime Strip for 2 is a great option. Cameron was helpful and very attentive.

It's always a delight to dine at Christner's, and we celebrated our friend's 80th birthday and our whole table loved it too. We go every month and are never disappointed.

Food was amazing (the steak, lobster Mac and cheese, potato's, corn, orange cake) but unfortunately the service was really poor compared to the other times we've been. I'm really hoping it was just a bad night or the server was just having a bad day which is totally understandable. If you're looking for great food this is the place- but if you would like the full experience with a server who doesn't just say “okay... what do you want? With no recommendations, and where you don't get any refills or asked if maybe we had wanted more drinks, or even a how're you doing today this may not be a great fit.

The restaurant had a terrible smell where we were seated, carpet was nasty, it was too hot as heck. The steak was outstanding, portions were generous. All side dishes and desert were average. Not ready for a Michelin star. I'd rate it average.

Our server, Kevin, did an amazing job of taking care of our table. Very professional and provided some great recommendations. Steaks were all cooked to perfection with great flavor. Crab Cake app and all the sides were also spot on. Overall, a great experience.

Food and service always amazing, Anniversary dinner. The large center room table of 12 or so were VERY loud to peripheral booths like us. The wait staff even mentioned they were loud, should have been silenced

Celebrated our 12th anniversary and my 54th birthday with my childhood bestie and our husbands. It was their first time, and we all loved the food. Eduardo our server, was the best!
