Whilst holidaying along International Drive we visited here one evening as my partner wanted some Mexican food. We decided to sit inside and escape the fumes of the traffic. We were shown to a table quickly and sat to peruse the menu. However we quickly came to feel and learn that the temperature was freezing inside. Now this might sound bizarre that anyone would complain about this as Florida is boiling but it was an uncomfortable level of cold. Not really refreshing especially when everyone has goosebumps. We ordered some food I went for tacos, my partner a cross between enchilada and taco and the child had an enchilada. We were given some chips and salsa to graze on whilst food was prepared. We got a starter which was chicken style taco which was good. The mains came and the child point blank didn’t like the enchilada it was suppose to have beef in but it was a no go. My tacos were ok and shared these with the child. There was also some refried bean chilli, salad and rice. The food was quite bland and lacked a bit of taste but this is not the first time I have had this experience of Mexican food in America. It got to a point with the temperature being so cold we just had to finish up and leave. The child had a dessert of ice cream but it was too cold to eat it. We actually stepped out this restaurant and it was warmer outside. We did tell staff about it and they were trying to rectify it but it stayed at 75 throughout and basically went from 74 to 75. The decor in the restaurant was quite traditional and no problem with the service and punctuality

Fantastic. Free chips and salsa before the meal. Humongous portions, tastes food, and very affordable. A great place to eat. One word of caution, the salsa may be a bit spicy for some folks.
RACIST WORKING IN A MEXICAN RESTAURANT. They have a young man in a jacket at the reception desk who is not identified as an employee, but he does not cause insecurity.

About a 30 minute wait for a table at 6pm on a Saturday. Salsa, ranch and queso were all great. Guac was good, but not quite great. Service was very good when we saw our server, but the room probably could have used one more person. Comida Deluxe, Tacos al Carbon and Chuychanga were all delicious and big portions. Overall, darn good tex-mex.
Kid-friendliness: Ok kids menu. Little heavy of the cheese options
The food was delicious! Our servers were great. The new trainee Cassandra was attentive and awesome. I can't remember her trainers name, but she was great too. Thank you!

Chuy's was the perfect place for out sports team to build relationships after our first day of tournaments. The staff worked together to take care of our 30+ person group. The food arrived hot and full of flavor. We had a few delays on drinks, but that's expected with a large group. We were there late afternoon / early dinner which was perfect timing for a large group. Enjoy your time at this Chuy's!
