Fomos muito bem recepcionados. Garçons super educados e atenciosos. Lasanha e Tiramissu deliciosos. Recomendo.
Waiter was a little rude. I tried giving him my child's order and he said wait until I go to her. Never asked what we wanted to drink, when we asked for drinks once again he wouldn't take anyone's drink order until he went back around the table to each person. And still Forgot one's drink until we reminded him. 3 of our guests didn't eat their food as it wasn't good.
I come to Orlando frequently to visit family and recently stumbled upon this place. I had the same thing both times--the Caesar salad and the spaghetti bolognese--and found them delicious. I was after comfort food and that's what I got.
The restaurant is called Ciao because as soon as you enter, you want to say Ciao and go someplace else. Group has another restaurant in Orlando which hopefully is better. Just beer and wine. No full bar. We dined at 8pm on Wednesday as the restaurant is located near SeaWorld and Universal. We came nicely dressed (dresses, slacks and collared shirt, no sandals, no shorts). Staff were rude. Daughter (17 y/o) asked for iced sweet tea. It came in a bottle (unsweetened). Waiter did not ask if she wanted sugar or lemon. Started of not fries calamari was tough, tasted fishy and was all cut pieces, no whole squid. Daughter's veal parmigiana was overbooked and tough. Difficult to cut with butter knife. My husband and I started veal piccata style dish which was also tough, overcooked, over salted and lack the capers and white wine sauce. We left still hungry and went to Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse which is in the same parking lot which blew Ciao out of the water. Say Ciao to Ciao and choose Delmonico's instead!
Great little spot for very good food. Service was great. Real authentic Italian food. A good selection on the menu.
Frequent visitors to the area, and I'm sad that this is the first time we've tried this place! We were there on a Monday as well as kind of on the early side for a dinner reservation (6 pm), so the restaurant was pretty quiet. Our waiter was attentive but not pushy. The restaurant participated in Magical Dining, but we opted to order off the full menu. Fettucini Alfredo, Linguine Vongole, and meat Ravioli were the choices at our table, and all were excellent as we all tried all three entrees. I added shrimp to the Vongole, and both the shrimp and clams were perfectly cooked. The ravioli was exceptional, and I while I don't like Alfredo (personal preference, not specific to this restaurant), it looked fresh and was told it was delicious. Everything seemed authentically italian in my estimation, and the bread, the cheeses ... the small touches that made this meal excellent were on point. We will be back,
Restaurant feel warm and cozy and very inviting. Food is average, and service is ok. Severs are rude and aggressive.
The food was as close to my grandmother's cooking as I could remember, and therefore was very good . Ciao's dining area is clean and very nicely set with linen tablecloths, and the ambience is wonderful. More importantly, the staff was very friendly and attentive making sure everything was right and to our liking. Sandro, our waiter was much more than a waiter he was very knowledgeable about the menu items and pairing with wine and treated us with extreme kindness and respect
A warm greeting when you arrive. A knowledgable staff. Food that reminds me of being in my Nana's kitchen. If you are anywhere near Ciao Italia, you need to go. It's the best Italian food we've found.

Ciao Italia always has some of the best real Italian food anywhere. Fresh homemade flavors and great service and attention. Thanks for a wonderful meal!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. The food and service were exceptional. The desserts and pasta were phenomenal. We did the “magical dinning experience” and each course came out in a timely manner and perfectly complimented the previous dish. Outstanding!
My waiter was great. Services was great. Food was good but for Italian it was about average and what i expected. It did not blow me away with any WOW factor but it was good. I would recommend!
The service was excellent - I was super impressed. Food was also delicious and came out in a timely manner, generous portions, excellent quality. We'll be back!
Very nice attendants, courteous and professionals. Great attitude and very attentive. Food was OK and the quantity was excessive. Would not go back.
