Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was decent but our experience was beyond disappointing. After waiting an hour to get our food I asked to speak to the manager. Josinia walked out and did not offer an apology or any help. She just said we are very busy and walked away. They were maybe 1/4 full and lots of empty tables. Our server Matthew was great and kept apologizing but the manager ruined our experience and ensured we will not back.

The food is always hot with good portions and exactly what you ask for. I'm from Canada and whenever I make my way across the border I stop in to a cracker barrel for the nostalgia honestly. The little gift shop brings me back to when I was a little brat begging my parents to go eat there just to try to talk then into getting me a toy. It's a unique 'true american feeling' franchise

I'm from out of town, where there is no Cracker Barrels. Got the daily dinner special, turkey dinner, and it was horrible. I told the food server that looked at my basically uneaten plate and told her the problem. The stuffing was unedible, the "gravy" was like a gel and over salted, and the turkey itself tasted like it came from frozen or a tin. She made no offer of getting me anything else and just said sorry. Now I know, the only thing good here is the breakfast, blueberry pancakes. I'll never get anything else.

This place is overrated I received terrible service from the server and the manager. It’s crispy clear why the server behaved like she did. The server gets an attitude because I didn’t like the over cooked pancakes and the shriveled up sausages.
I don’t eat any and every thing that is sat before me. What a waste of time ,effort and fuel.

Cracker barrel is changing. Their food prices are rising tremendously, corporate has made menus changes that don't make sense, and have eliminated favorite dishes to only one day availability. To indicate this , my favorite dish was the chicken pot pie which now is a Su day only meal, and has gone from $9.99 to $17.99 for the same item. They are also changing the country atmosphere. This used to be a favorite, but now, it is not important to go to. Really disappointing.
