Staff there needs to do better .. the restaurant is suppose to be open at 10 yet at 11am the food still wasn’t cooked nor displayed out and the workers were just in the back chilling ..
Day 2 of my trip to Florida to attend infocomm. Dinner time had come again and not wanting to engage in the hotel fare, I ventured out in search of my next meal.
Once again, this was in the Vineland Outlet Mall in Orlando and walking distance from my hotel. I left the hotel at 630 pm. I looked to my right with the mall to my left, dark sky, rumblings of thunder. So I checked the hourly forecast and saw that rain was expected but not for another hour to hour and a half which gave me courage to journey on.
I skipped out on a steak and seafood dinner with one of our partners after having attended it for years. As a result, I think I just wanted steak this evening but I didn't want the carbs. I typically find it hard to eat out twice in the same day when on travel because food portions tend to be on the larger side and I had a loaded baked potato for lunch. Those can be very dense and can sit with you for a while.
I chose this restaurant because it seemed the healthiest of the other options in the food court. This being a mall food court, you should expect a food court environment which would explain my rating for atmosphere. Many of the other restaurant options in the court did not provide a carbless experience and I've always loved me a good Taco bowl. This is essentially a build your own bowl type offering where you also have the option to have it on top of rice or as a wrap. The options for protein grilled chicken, steak, or carne asada pork. As I had chosen the salad bowl, the base salad was romaine and you then pick all the various elements you want in your bowl. I chose corn, grilled onions, tomato salsa, guacamole which costs extra, and of course the steak. A notable thing to point out here was that the steak and the other meats are out in warming bins and they scoop your portion into your bowl. The individual who was putting my bowl together appeared to be the only worker there behind the counter. There wasn't much steak left in the bin so he asked me if it was okay if you went back to get fresh steak to which I had no issue with since I wasn't in a crunch for time. He then proceeded to go back and cook a new batch of steak and bought it out to show me that it was medium rare, which is exactly how I like it. I also had their hot sauce on the side and declined additional sauces that they had which appeared to be more on the creamier side, just to avoid the calories. All in all it came out to about $22.
I took it back to the hotel which was about a 15-minute walk, and I can tell you, it was good. All the ingredients seemed relatively fresh and the hot sauce had a little bit of kick in it. As a fire eater, I appreciated the heat which was just enough for me to notice I was there, but nowhere near spicy enough to qualify on the heat. Register for fire eaters. The steak was tender and flavorful. And the portion of steak relative to the size of the bowl was satisfactory. Just to know here that extra protein was about a little over $4 if you chose to do that, which is around the same price as it would have been to get guacamole.
This place is good. I was satisfied. I think you will be too if you decide to go here. Based on this single experience, I would recommend it.

Overpriced and stingy with the toppings. Nearly double the price of chipotle, but less food. Food quality was okay.

Be careful with the hygiene of this place, one of the ladies who served me, after using her hands with food gloves to grab the salad and cheese and handle all the food, started cleaning, using her cell phone, rubbing her hands with the gloves over her face and when the next client arrived she served him with the same gloves since she never changed them, I was watching the whole time until I waited for her to finish to see if she changed her gloves but that never happened 🤮 🤢
Fajita was delicious, people were nice and friendly. Would go again!

The food was good, but I went back to get a fight and the two ladies working were doing nothing and made me wait in line for 5-10 for a free fight. It was ridiculous.

This place is really good. Used to be better but lately they are being very strict with the portions. 12.99 for a chicken bowl and they serve not even a full scoop. It's already crazy the price increase, just serve a good portion.
Horrible customer service, food could also improve

We tried the Yucatan quesadilla in Currito, disappointing, lacking in filling and barely warm.I do not recommend it, there are better options to eat in the Food Court of this Shopping Center.
