I bought a box of gloves from this shop, but what I received was completely different from what was shown on the box. The box said rubber gloves, but inside were thin plastic gloves. When I contacted the seller, they refused to take responsibility and said it was the manufacturer’s fault — even though I bought the product directly from them.
I was polite and understanding, but after that, they treated me as if I was trying to scam them, which was very upsetting. I didn’t do anything wrong; I just wanted what I paid for. It’s disappointing to see a seller act this way instead of taking accountability for misleading packaging and poor customer service.
I hope others read this before buying from D&G Occasion. Always check carefully before ordering.

They get one star—strictly because they did, in fact, deliver what I paid for. Beyond that, this was hands-down the rudest experience I’ve ever had in any establishment. My service dog was quietly sitting next to me, doing absolutely nothing other than existing, and yet I was told he wasn’t allowed. Not only is that against the law, but the staff member delivered this misinformation with the kind of enthusiasm one usually reserves for telling someone their car has just been towed.
If this employee’s goal was to set a new standard for unfriendliness, congratulations—mission accomplished. I almost want to suggest they put “World’s Grumpiest Employee” on a name tag so the rest of us can prepare ourselves in advance.
Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name (which is probably for the best, because I wouldn’t want to immortalize it in a review), so the entire team gets to share the honor. As a first-time customer, I walked in hopeful—and left absolutely appalled.

This is a wonderful, well stocked store. They have everything! The classes are amazing as well. Disregard the racist reviews. My daughter and I are non-hispanic customers and we were treated VERY well. I don't know how the ladies working could be any more accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Cons: I usually purchase my items online and in bulk. I only come here if it’s an emergency and here’s why. Most of the cashiers, except for the Dominican lady with the long gray hair (love her!), treats you like trash if you’re not Hispanic. I don’t usually resort to the “race card”, however after years of being a patron, that’s the only thing I can’t sum it up to. They try to over charge me, ring up additional items, and follow you around the store. I just left from there today and the primary cashier who gives me problems actually watched me load up my vehicle to make sure I bring the cart back to the store. I noticed she didn’t do that with any of the other customers when I arrived to the store or when I was leaving. I sat in the parking lot to watch how she treated other customers, and it was not the same treatment. It’s 2025 and no customer should have to succumb to this type of treatment. I’ll be going to other bakery supply stores, even though it’s further of a drive.
I come here a lot for work to pick up edible drinks toppers. They’re always really fast and responsive. Super knowledgeable and helpful as well as great prices.

Francine helped me so much! I came in lost not knowing where to find anything and she was so kind and helpful! She gave me a tour of the store and showed me where everything was that I needed. Now, I can make a memory and make quesitos with my aunt before she leaves back to PR tomorrow! Thank you so much :)

Took a 2½ hour drive from where I live here. I was so looking forward to this place, can't deny the amount of items was very impressive, and felt amazing seeing them in person. However, I walked out with just 1 item and couldn't get everything wanted/needed for my wedding due to feeling very uncomfortable and hawked!! The employees are all miserable, grouchy, and lack manners! Even when I asked one a question about the Colormills later, the lady at the counter was so brief and rude. Then I kept being followed by this young white dude, who they clearly assigned him to watch me but pretend he was "working". Every isle I turned, he magically had interest to go there too. Which meant he thought I was stealing... I'm never one to scream racial profiling or pull the race card, especially since I can pass for a white woman... but this place needs to do better with these employees and management and stop assuming everyone is stealing. Or better yet, just put everything behind glass locked shelves. Just let everyone go and start all over again at this point.

Bake Supply Plus - the online store has the best selection! I was looking for a silver full sheet cake board for a Publix cake and this was the only store to carry it. Not even Amazon. They were very friendly and were able to ship my order same day so it could arrive on time for my event.
