We stopped in here for HH cocktails and oysters before dining at The Strand. I had the Jaguar’s Nap. If you like mezcal, you’ll love this drink. The oysters were delicious, too. It was a great find.
I also left my very expensive Gucci sunglasses at the table and the server found us after our exit to return them. That was very honorable of him.

Nice bar with great drinks and service, but the music needs to be toned down. It's not even (just) that it's too loud, the acoustics aren't that great in this small space.

Great food and drink selection that comes with excellent service. Restaurant next door if you get hungrier.
Definitely a must visit!
Love this place, it’s a low key, low crowd cocktail bar with good vibes and a great cocktail menu

We stopped by d.b.a. after dinner next door at The Strand and really enjoyed the experience. We only had one drink, but I absolutely loved mine—Little Bear. It was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. The bar was a little loud, but honestly, that’s probably more a reflection of me getting older than anything else. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely come back to try another drink!

D.B.A. delivers dazzling dishes and a decent drink deal during happy hour, but be warned. This place is loud. Like, leave-with-ringing-ears loud. The dining room is diminutive, and the DJ-style record spinning is dialed up to “dance club,” making dialogue downright difficult.
Though the $1.50 Thursday oyster deal is a dreamy delight, delays in dishes, dry water glasses, and a desperate need to request plates left the experience feeling disjointed. Small plates were scrumptious, but service was sluggish.
Don’t dare bring a date you’re hoping to discuss dreams with, the couple next to us were shouting their shared interests like it was speed dating at a stadium. D.B.A. is a spot for snacking and sipping, not serious conversations.

Love coming here with my nursing friends, it’s a chill environment for a nice convo and some really good drinks. Their dessert is always so good! And the staff is super friendly!

Didn't even know this place existed until my wife and I walked by. We are fans of The Strand so it's no surprise that we love this place too. I've only had the wasabi deviled eggs so far and they are some of the best things I've ever consumed. I also had the Nickles and Dimes cocktail which was right up my alley. Definitely coming back
