For me, the steak, and excellent quality filet, was too heavily salted, which detracted from the steak's flavor. The broccoli rabe similarly had too much salt and was swimming in excessive butter.
We had a lovely night at DelFriscos. The drinks were outstanding and one of the highlights evening. The Strawberry Rose Sidecar was light and refreshing. My companion said the Maple Bourbon Sour was the best Bourbon Sour she ever had. Appetizers were delicious, oysters and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge and the Miso Mustard dipping sauce was so yummy. We had the Filet and Ribeye as our mains and both were exceptional and cooked to perfection. The sweet potato casserole...
We've been to this restaurant countless times and we have been satisfied with the overall service and food. Last night wasn't the case.. we waited about 30 min to get even bread and we got it because I asked for it, food took a long time also, temperature of the steak wasn't the right one.. and we didn't understand why because it wasn't a busy night there were a lot of open tables..
