I’ve been coming to Deli Desires for years and normally love the food and the brand — I order here several times a week. Unfortunately, today’s experience really disappointed me.
I placed a pickup order through Uber Eats and sent my employee, Bruce, to collect it. He’s very familiar with your process and usually has no issues. This time, however, the cashier, Jason, dismissed him right away, saying there was no order — without even checking the bag that was sitting on the rack in the usual spot. Bruce was pushed aside, made to wait again, and even when he explained that I was on the phone ready to provide order details, Jason just stared and didn’t cooperate. Bruce left feeling as if he was being targeted, possibly because of his race — which should never happen anywhere, let alone at a restaurant.
What made this more concerning is that when I tried calling the restaurant earlier during the incident, the line would not go through. But when I called afterward to leave feedback, the phone actually rang and Jason answered. That left me questioning how this situation was handled.
I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 because I don’t believe a single bad incident should outweigh years of good experiences. I’ve supported this restaurant for over four years, and most of the time the food and service have been excellent. At the same time, I can’t give 5 stars after what Bruce experienced today. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so that no other customer feels disrespected in this way.

Delicious deli food and sandwiches! I got the corned beef sandwich for my husband and a side latke for me. Mostly a take out place; there are a few small tables inside. Very colorful decorations as well. My online order was waiting for me when I arrived. As others have commented, the prices seem high but looking through the replies it is because tax and gratuity are included, which I definitely support and respect. We will definitely be getting more take out from here!

My mouth literally waters when I think of deli desires! Their breakfast sandwiches are incredible!!! If you are from NY corner deli's and getting breakfast sandwiches are a go to. Obviously the quality in deli desires is WAY BETTER than a NY deli sandwich, HOWEVER!!!.. In deliciousness, it's pretty close!! My New Yorker heart is elated to have this magic around! SOOO GOOD!
I was visiting Orlando for the first time on August 16,25. Stopped in for lunch and ordered a BLT. It was fabulous! The Bialy was wonderful and the rest of the sandwich was way better than most BLT's I've had. Purchased the 4 pack of Bialy with 8oz cream cheese to take with me for breakfast the next day.

Recently spending time in the area and decided to give this a try for breakfast. The bialys were good, but a little pricey in my opinion. The place is pretty much a takeout spot, so not sure why the prices are so high. I liked the overall flavor of the bialy I got and the staff member at the register explained the menu to me.
Overall, it's okay.

Amazing fresh bread and produce!!! I had the Labneh and it was delicious, generous amount of tasty cucumbers and great flavor!
Upon arrival the service was definitely NOT worth the 17% gratuity and after doing a little digging I find out that apparently it’s a habit. The asian lady and the white gentleman in the front are not welcoming to dark skinned folks. Im sorry to say it but when you know you know. Personally I won’t be returning and if you’re going to visit for the first time make sure to be white. Simple as that.

We got the gravlax and latke sandwich. Both were incredible. The salmon on the gravlax was maybe the best cured salmon I’ve ever had. Staff is super friendly. The place is very clean and tidy. It’s mostly takeout but they do have a couple of standing tables that we ate at. Can’t wait to go back

It was like walking into a deli in New York, food tastes EXACTLY like home. Take out only, two outdoor tables. The vibe is great in this location all staff are friendly and helpful.
