This was probably my favorite place in Orlando. The burgers were juicy, loaded, and they offered interesting sauces (like the peach for the sloppy joe). The Nashville hawt burger is a must! The fried pickles were on point: I chose tartare which was the perfect sauce for them. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-10
Thank you guys who left good reviews. This is the first restaurant we tried after landing. The classic burger was really good. I also have a soft spot for the pickle chips.
I recently visited this spot for the first time with high hopes, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. I ordered the Nashville Vegan Chicken Burger, based on the good reviews here and I expected the kick of spice that typically defines a Nashville-style dish that I've had in other hot chicken spots here and the amazing ones in NYC. Instead, I got a dry, cold, and flavorless sandwich. There was zero spice, even though it was advertised as "spicy." The texture was weird, and it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while before being served, which would make sense considering how fast it was "made." The burger also broke in half the second you picked it up. The only good thing on the burger was the pickle.
To make things worse, the service was bad and it was bad vibes in there. The cashier seemed dismissive and rude, which made the experience even less enjoyable. I left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. Unfortunate since FL doesn't have too many vegan places... but there are a couple out there doing amazing things with plant-based flavors and customer service - sadly, this place isn't one of them.

Great service and atmosphere. Plenty of vegan options. If you prefer less seasoning, let them know when ordering. Food came quick. My favorite was the buffalo Mac and cheese.

While Florida is no longer my home state my family and I don’t hesitate to head to Dharma’s and Valhalla’s Bakery whenever we come back in town. The sandwiches, fries, and sauces are consistent every time we come. They are super hot so you know it’s cooked to order. Dharma’s is a family favorite for this plant-based trio.
Dietary restrictions: For the plant based eater and the every now and then whole food plant based eater.

Dharma Southern Chick'n, previously known as Dixie Dharma, has rebranded and moved to the Cheney Collective food hall in Orlando. This vegan restaurant is celebrated for its plant-based Southern comfort food, offering dishes like chick’n tenders, BBQ jackfruit sandwiches, and po’boys.
During a recent visit, I tried the classic chicken sandwich, which delivered on both flavor and texture. My partner opted for the chick'n parm, paired with sides of crispy Brussels, cheesy homies, and garlic mac n cheese—each dish was a standout in its own right, bursting with flavor and well-seasoned.
The new location at Cheney Collective adds a fresh energy to the brand, making it a must-visit spot for both vegans and anyone who enjoys Southern-inspired cuisine.
