Very cool place to hang during the week. BUT... I wish they would teach security some kind of tact. I get that you want to go home. However, you hovering over me as I am clearly trying to finish my last drink that I paid for isnt the move. I wont say not to go here but definitely leave well before they close... cause security will make you drink your last drink in one gulp when it is time to go

I am a 44 year-old man who has been to district dive in southern for years to come. We were literally in line because it was very crowded and we had a couple of 20-year-old some things trying to get in front of everybody. I stood up for myself and they actually knew the security guard and they threw me out and actually got the cops involved on top of that. I have never been so appalled and disgusted in my life. I will never be returning to this place ever again and it’s so sad because it actually love the bartenders so much because they Are amazing and I love them so much.

I've been there a couple of times, from average to good service but yesterday was the worst. The male bartenders are nice, but the lady on the other hand so rude and disrespectful.

It's a dive bar with strong drinks, a lively atmosphere, and a very gregarious, charming, genuine bartender. Ramon instantly welcomes you to the bar and makes all the right suggestions. Around 10pm it gets pretty upbea and fun with DJs in the adjacent Southern Nights, which features a drag show, burlesque dancers, an outdoor patio area and plenty of bars. Overall, it was a great time but our experience with Ramon was the best 👌 5/5
