Had the Treehuger wrap which was very tasty and a large cappucino with oat milk. The mug size was exactly what I needed. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Would have given 5/5 but unfortunately it’s only possible for 100% vegan restaurants. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-14
Chill atmosphere with warm and inviting people. The food quality was wonderful with vegan and meat options. The drinks were in a wide variety and they also had comfortable seating with a lovely area to chat and/or read/study. I have frequented this shop multiple times and the workers are phenomenal. The prices are fair and the service is wonderful. Also, the baked goods ROCK! Get the banana nut or peanut butter brownies! It will change your LIFE!

this is a great place to pick up lunch and study! i don't think i've ever been in there where the coffee bar isn't busy. the atmosphere is great and it's relaxed and fun without being too loud or too quiet.
the coffee is enjoyable and i like trying the different varieties. very vegan friendly with both the coffee and the food! they always have multiple rotating specials that are roughly half vegan and there's a lot of already vegan items on the menu. i like to try the specials because they're always coming up with something new and creative (although the philly is arguably my favorite).
additionally, they have great nonvegan and vegan desserts! everything is clearly labelled and they have a fair amount of options. the baked goods are delicious and i would consider coming there just for the bakery.
i love coming here to eat and hang out for a while and i'll continue to do so in the future! i definitely recommend it for studying or just hanging out with friends.

Just discovered this spot on a trip to Orlando and I literally went 3 times in the span of 3 days. I’m vegan and it made me so happy to see all the options they serve, not to mention the food was more than delicious. The staff were super nice and the atmosphere was great. The Drunken Monkey is now a must for all of my future Orlando trips!

Seriously the best coffee shop in Orlando. The coffee is delicious and their pumpkin sauce is next level. So much better than the chain places. It’s such a vibe. Great place to spend a minute on a rainy day in the Milk District.

Really great little spot! We were travelling from Canada and were always happy to find an LGBTQ friendly place with very friendly staff. Great food options for both plant based and non-plant based folks, great coffee as well! Definitely worth stopping in to grab a bite and a drink.

The Drunken Monkey is right on Bumby Ave, corner of Stanley St, next to Beefy King.
I was surprised by this small restaurant. It is family owned and has been operating for 17 years; something they're doing right.
I called and placed my order by phone, as I could not figure out how to place an online order; no big deal. The young woman that answered the phone was very polite and sounded so sweet and friendly. She helped me with my order and suggested alternatives to what I wanted, because what I asked for was not on their menu anymore.
I ended up with a Royale Panini which is very tasty and a Turmeric Latte (Golden Milk). I got the Turmeric Latte because I've been meaning to try it and for its potential health benefits. Now, that Royale Panini was stupendous, it was done almost to perfection; it came with a little side of potato salad, which was enough and tasty except that it needed a little bit of salt.
Order was done fast. I went in to pick up my order and order was ready for me to pick up and go. The staff is great.
I will be back to try other items that I saw on their menu and to try their Matcha; I love Matcha. Thank you for the great food and service Drunken Monkey!

Ordered 2 biscuits via doordash delivery and biscuits were very hard and dry as if they were made days ago. I even tried microwaving in a wet paper towel and still super dry and hard. I will definitely pass next time!

Awesome coffee shop to sit and work, Very chill atmosphere, great coffee and eclectic decor.
I like that unlike most coffee shop, the lighting is more dim, which may not be for everyone, but it is one of the things that makes me chose to go here when I need a place to sit and work for a bit.
Food is really good, a lot of vegetarian/vegan options and yes, they do have non vegetarian food as well.
Staff has always been nice to me and I would recommend to anyone who needs a change of atmosphere.

atmosphere was nice, very cozy but they messed up my order. 4 sweetners on my matcha instead of 3, the matcha also tasted horrible. and they gave me a plain bagel instead of a everything bagel. very stingy on the cream cheese. i don’t think i’ll be returning.
