My wife and I had very high expectations due to the hype we’d heard from mutual friends. I ordered the burrito loco burrito and she ordered the California burrito. The burrito loco burrito was honestly quite average. Nothing about the ingredients felt fresh or authentically Mexican. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. The California burrito was another story, we chose the .50 cent up charge for steak and the California burrito had half the steak as the burrito loco. For 20 dollars a burrito, that’s just unacceptable. It felt like a fry burrito above all else. Finally, we also got an orchard drink which was actually delicious!I wouldn’t order from here again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend. If you want authentically good Mexican food, go to border grill on kirkman.

We waited over 50 mins for a burrito this is unacceptable to be honest it was there literally 10 minutes after they open the restaurant only one couple before us and after asking the girl about it I waited another 15

First off I wanted to say the food is 100% A+ amazing, however the other side of this token is the customer service is less than sub par, immediately upon walking in we were directed to the self kiosk instead of talking to a server behind the counter, I have spent a lot of time in the south and pretty familiar with terms and food items, however my wife is not and being that both of us are white it was very clear that we weren’t “welcomed” here with the same hospitality others were getting in the restaurant, we were directed to a screen instead with no patience at all from serving staff… even though we didn’t mind waiting. we ordered birra tacos and birria flautas with a side of esquites in a cup as we’ve seen on social media, we ordered at 8:55pm and knew it was going to be a wait judging by how many people were there with no food on tables, 30 minutes later my wife receives her food and was told mine was coming out shortly, now we have no problem waiting as both of us have worked in restaurants before and wanted to take to go, it wasn’t until 9:50 when we finally asked where my food was, the server immediately ran to the back and got it, upon feeling the bottom and waiting 53 minutes my food was cold and just sitting in the back, we asked about the side of esquites side and was told it would be right up next…. During our time waiting we saw multiple tables get that as a side but when it came time after waiting more than an hour and 10minutes for food we were told it was being made right now and would be up in 2-3 minutes, after waiting an hour and 20 minutes we gave up and left with a partial order as we had plans set for 10:30, this isn’t meant as a completely negative review as we throughly enjoyed the food even though we didn’t get everything and mine was cold, but it still was amazing food! I just wish the food matched the customer service and this place would be a weekly meal for me and worth the drive from lake Nona but unfortunately me and my wife experience this a lot and feel the need to be transparent about it, thanks for taking the time to read and please please try the food but order ahead is my only tip

First time in to try what the hype on this place was all about.1st we ordered the burrito with chicken, loco fries with steak and quesa chicken birria.Honestly all of it was a 3/10. The burrito was more rice than refried beans and chicken, and all meal lacked on flavor.The loco fries were crispy and good but the steak was chewy (low quality for sure) the quesadilla birria chicken was ok broth was too salty.Service by Angie was on point very friendly and attentive. She gets 10/10
