El Palacio Buffet

WORST BUFFET we’ve ever been to! Definitely felt ripped off. We went at 6:30pm and the food looked like it’s been out since breakfast/lunch. What should have been crunchy was too hard to eat. The food tasted terrible! The kids buffet was old and too hard to chew. My 2 year old got charged $4.99. That’s the first time we’ve ever had to pay for our toddler. They even served burnt rice!

We all felt a tummy ache afterwards. Such a waste of money!

I don’t understand all the good reviews. Worst food we’ve ever tasted! They have you pay before seeing the food and sitting. We should’ve just walked out when we saw the quality of the food.

They upgraded this place but the food is not that great for the price you pay! My chicken soup were cold the oxtails were super small pieces overall I will not come here again not impressed very disappointed don’t waste your money! We were a party of 3 people we paid 60.03 ridiculous!

I have to say the food was the worst I have had in quite a long time. Both my wife and I could not find anything close to palatable as the food was very bland with no spices that we could tell. It was just really bad. Due to the cost of the buffet, we both tried to find something worth eating, however there was not one item we could find on the buffet that we could take more than one or two bites of. If not for being in a public place, I think I would have spit out just about everything I tasted.

The food is not Mexican food. It’s Latin food and maybe that was the issue. We are used to Tex-Mex, something with a little flavor. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex this is not the place to go. If you’re looking for something that is fairly bland without much taste then maybe you might enjoy the buffet.

I hate leaving such a negative review but it was difficult for us to get the taste out of our mouth. Even though we were so hungry, the taste stayed with us to the point we lost our appetite so we ended up going home very disappointed from our experience.

On a positive note, the workers in the restaurant were very nice and the atmosphere was as expected for a buffet.

Very old place. Air conditioning is not working. Buffet food lack of flavour. Music was terrible. In general not recommended place to eat. Buffet price almost $20. It is not worth it.

Literally the worst experience of my life. My husband got sick after eating here. The food was awful. The service was not great. The atmosphere was Reminiscent of an 80s style buffet, but without the glamour. Somehow they even managed to mess up ceviche, and there was even a dessert that had not only the taste, but also the consistency of a candle. A very old candle.
We were amazed at the value as far as the price goes when we got there, but now we feel like we overpaid

Food taste so old…looks like it’s been reheated all the time…the food doesn’t taste fresh at all…I’ve had stomach upset for 3 consecutive times so I’m no longer going back there. Won’t recommend

Food wasn't attractive or fresh. I was excited about reading about it but found the meat discolored and almost everything I sampled was cooked incorrectly. Very sorry for the bad review. The place was very busy otherwise and no one else seemed bothered.

This place was clean floors tables and counter tops. The light was nice and bright . The service was ok the food was ok lots of Spanish dishes and a good amount of Chinese cuisine. The parking lot was open and clear with lots spaces.
My experience here was good no hassle no issue no worries . All smooth operations

The pictures uploaded are not what you will be getting. The employees were nice but the food was horrible. I bit into a surillito and all I could taste was the masa or dough. The texture was terrible. The pork was room temp at best. Theres was nothing that looked even remotely like what it was supposed to be, let alone appetizing. Everything looked like it had been sitting there all day. We took 2 bites of food and had to leave. We should have turned around when we saw a pile of feces outside the side of the restaurant and that mistake cost us $50.

This place is old and smells just like it. the Food was cold and I let one of the waiters know and she didn’t even care. The bathroom smells bad and floors all sticky Overall, I really Bad Experience.
