Reading some of the older reviews - that was not the experience I had at Ember during my Sunday brunch but to each is own I guess. ??‍♀️For example, the food and drinks were brought out to us, the barman was very attentive and brought another bubbly right on time as our bottle was running low, our waiter brought our food out instead of us waiting inside for it. Everyone was always attentive and ready to clear out the table or give extra napkins, silverware, whatever we needed at any given time.Drina was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a very welcoming atmosphere, they don't rush you. Manager even comes over to do a wellness check to ensure you're having a great time, making the food and everything is great. Had a great time, the hours flew by!Absolutely recommended!

Nice Day party vibe. Bottles were expensive as heck! 270 for Titos and 350 for. Nice indoor outdoor atmosphere.

The bartender still they will charge you more in the inside of the building than the outside and they will give you half a shot instead of an entire shot!! Not to mention they will alter the pricing on card transactions!! I normal have a section and bottle but this time it was over booked and I still went to to charge my card 41.00 instead of 11 got along island she charged me 18 then add an additional 23 dollars for a tip !! And it’s not all the bars but the white bartender in the front that on the right towards the back of the counter !!

Went on Friday night...10pm. The DJ was playing pre-recorded music. Definitely wasn't dj'ing, blending, nothing. Bartenders were the best part of the evening. And the drinks were not expensive. Lastly, there wasn't a dress code. Ppl had full size backpacks, bonnets, flip flops, etc.

I’m not one to be a Karen but this place had me PISSED. I never had a waiter come to our table and never got my waffle but it’s even worse because there was automatic gratitudity for this terrible service. The French toast were so stiff and weren’t warm . The bathroom has mold and while using the bathroom there was a puddle of bleach which dyed my pants. The only person that was actually doing their job was the omlette guy.?

Wine down Wednesday is absolutely falsely advertised.- They had 1 pitcher of white and 1 pitcher of red, and that was all for the night. There were no servers replenishing the drinks, and no self serve options, these pitchers were never replaced, pretty sure that was all they had for the night which is why they didn’t care to refill drinks.- The DJ left mid set and they turned on a TV channel for music.Everything about this place is below mediocre. If you’re expecting quality, all you can drink wine, this is the last place I’d ever consider.I wish I could give less than a single star. The idea is great, but it’s obvious that they don’t gaf about execution, it’s probably the worst event for your week, I recommend you not go. (You absolutely do not pay to get your moneys worth, in fact you’re ripped off.)

Went for brunch. New managed has changed the menu. The food was not worth the price before the management change. It definitely is not worth it now either. Food was overcooked, out for a long period of time, and had to make my own waffle. Omelet bar and bruschetta plate gone. For drinks, you have to go to the bar to refill your bottomless drink. It has been a years long tradition to come here and have brunch with old coworkers, we all have said we need to find a new place.

If I could give it a 0 I would. I used to go to ember for brunch quite a bit. I haven't been there in over a year. I decided to make a reservation as it was my birthday and I knew ember was always fun when it came to brunch. Words couldn't even describe how AWFUL this experience was. First, we made a reservation and when we got there they told us “it's first come first serve” so don't waste your time on that. THEN, we ask the bartender (there was no one else in sight to help us move tables as we were a party of 7. When one person sat down and pulled the chair in we noticed that there was screws pointing inside which scratched her. Thankfully she didn't put her back on the chair. We were like okay whatever let's just keep going we already paid $48 for the brunch. It took about 30 minutes for the “server” to ask us if we've been helped (it was not that busy in there but looked to only have one server working and one bartender). We saw her maybe 2 times total? The food was all cold and gross. It looks like they've never cleaned their waffle maker. They had the same exact pasta as their “wine down Wednesday” appetizer. They also had no DJ. Ember is not what it used to be and there's too many good places downtown to waste money on this sorry brunch. Never coming back.

We made an online reservation for an early dinner because we had tickets to a show at the Kia Center. When we arrived, we spoke with someone at the door that we assumed was the host and they said to check with the bar regarding reservations. After about 10 min of waiting for someone to acknowledge us, the bartender said she needed to speak to the manager. He then needed to check with the kitchen to see if they could accommodate us! Apparently they had some sort of pub crawl event that evening and were not planning on serving dinner. This was a huge waste of our time and we were almost late for our show after trying to scramble and get in to another restaurant in time. I will say the manager did agree to honor our reservation and set up a table for us, but at that point, not only were they playing extremely loud club music, we also didn't trust what would be coming out of that kitchen. If they had another event happening, we should have never been able to make an online reservation. This is a beautiful restaurant in a great location. Hopefully they either get new management, or someone else needs to buy it and do something better! Huge disappointment!
