We appreciate the quiet relaxing setting and wonderful food, but the wait staff is less than attentive or welcoming. For the price, the customer experience was disappointing. Have been coming here annually for years and it's not improving.

Nicely curated restaurant in the Rosen hotel. Fresh seafood and steaks cooked to order. Service is very good.

If you have attended meetings all day, this is a lovely way to treat yourself. The starters are tasty with very attractive presentation. Try watermelon goat cheese starter. Filet cooked perfectly to order. Service was excellent quality and put me at ease as a solo diner. Atmosphere was attractive and clean but a bit cavernous- it does serve a hotel convention center so it’s to be expected. Great food and experience overall, friendly professional staff.

Very beautiful restaurant with a lovely mural taking up one wall. There is a pretty, large aquarium next to the hostess stand but, weirdly, only a handful of fish in it. We went for Magical Dining and this was one of the $60 restaurants (most are $40) where you get appetizer, main course and dessert for a fixed price. It did not live up to expectations. Three of us had the Chilean Sea Bass. The fish was good but it was atop a bed of mushy, weird-tasting risotto. I did not eat the risotto. Sadly, it was not accompanied by any other vegetables. My companion had the steak, which she said was good and was accompanied by fingerling potatoes, a carrot and some green beans which she said she did not like. The desserts were so-so with the standout being the tropical cheesecake. The chocolate cake was no better than what you would get in the grocery store. In fact, I think I've had better from the grocery store. All in all, it was NOT worth the $60.00 price nor were the cocktails we ordered worth the exorbitant prices we paid for those. I would not recommend. We also had confusion with the parking. We were directed to a lot where the attendant at the kiosk told us we would need to pay $30!! In the end, the hostess at the restaurant told us we did not need to pay, so I don't understand what that was all about....?

From the moment we walked into The Everglades at Rosen Centre on I-Drive, we were immersed in a really cool tribute to Florida’s iconic wetlands as the name implies. Gators, frogs, panthers, birds, and a fish tank decorate the restaurant adding a very nice touch that adds to the ambiance of the dining experience.

The Everglades was the next restaurant on our Magical Dining tour and were really impressed. For appetizers, we started out with the Everglades Garden Greens (our salad). For entrées, the Grilled Angus Filet stole the show (definitely the highlight of our dinner). The Char Grilled Halibut was exceptionally good and flavorful. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu Martini and the Tropical Cheesecake. I'm not big on cheesecake, but the Pineapple and Mango-Passionfruit flavors really surprised me.

The staff was very attentive and frequently checked in on us, which is always nice.

My husband and I decided to try Everglades during Magical Dining. The menu is what caught our attention so we made reservations. When we arrived to the hotel, I was concerned that the restaurant may not be as good as I was hoping but ultimately was pleasantly surprised! We walked through the hotel to about the middle of the first floor to get to the restaurant. The hostess was able to seat us right away as there wasn't many guests dining in. My husband and I both ordered drinks and then an appetizer, entree, and dessert each from their Magical Dining menu. My husband had Alligator Bay Chowder, their Steak, and 6-layer Chocolate Cake. I had Seafood Vol-Au-Vent, Chilean Seabass, and Tropical Cheescake. The service and all the food were excellent! So glad we decided to try them out!

Everything for all 8 guests was perfect. The food, the presentation and the service was superb. Our server was very attentive to everyone. All of our food came out at once and was hot. The ambiance was enjoyed by all. Many in our group had never had the pleasure of enjoying the pleasures of The Everglades Restaurant. When we suggested it as a choice for Magical Dining and we told everyone what a wonderful experience we had in the past, they all agreed to try it. And boy, were they impressed. We will be back soon for another great meal. So, see you soon and thank you for a great night. Arnell Tabak

The place is incredible, the food fabulous, and the service impeccable! Firstly, our waitress took our orders by memory (4 of us each having an appetizer, entrée, and desert - thats 16 items! And she got them all correct. Secondly, everyone's food was sensational in its appearance and taste. My filet was cooked exactly as I ordered and was so delicious, and the others in my party were each pleased with their food selections. I highly recommend this restaurant for many reasons and don't let the fact that it's inside a hotel scare you. We're definitely going back again!

Let me preface this by saying perhaps it was just an off night. We arrived at 5:30 for dinner and were promptly seated next to a very clean and colorful aquarium — though oddly, it only had seven fish in it.

Our server, whose name we believe was Victor, was a man of very few words. He said almost nothing to our table during the entire service and didn’t seem to care or even notice that most of our meals went untouched, as no one in our party of four enjoyed the food.

We were first presented with an unusual basket of assorted breads, two alligator-shaped pieces of butter, and a strange green dip that had an odd olive-like flavor — we jokingly called it the “mystery dip.” Appetizers were equally disappointing and went uneaten.

The main courses were another letdown. Three filets, ordered identically, came out completely inconsistent — differences in cook, plating, and even garnishes. Desserts followed suit and also went uneaten.

What stood out most was the lack of care or attentiveness from our server. At nearly $400 for a dinner for four, we expected much better. We read the reviews and were genuinely excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was a major disappointment.
