I want to like it, really I do, but if you're gonna open another Mexican/taco place downtown you better at least get your service on point because you have a lot of food around here to compete with. Unfortunately this place failed at that so well that I didn't even get to try the food. Upon walking in we couldn't figure out the seating (no sign or greeting from any staff close by) and would gladly seat ourselves, except we couldn't find a single clean table that didn't need to be bussed. Eventually someone saw us looking helpless and directed us to "sit wherever we want" so we eventually found a clean table that was likey open due to it being directly under a vent and freezing so with few options we moved outside. Had to go inside to get our own menu. A server came out, greeted us, and did bring chips and salsa and a bottle of water, but no glasses. Disappeared and returned ten minutes later very apologetic for the wait but still without glasses. The chips were warm at least, but the salsa bland. We paid for a beer and left without dinner. I wouldn't count on this place being open much longer. I know I won't be back.

The food and the drinks were great, but I think that what really got me was the atmosphere. Not 5 stars because the menu didn't give many options for food and/or drinks. I like to have a variety because you never know what you might be in the mood for.

This was "THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE". Arrived to a packed restuarant filled with 2 large parties and was informed only seating area available was outside patio. Outside was a playground of Unsupervised SCREAMING children (10). Ruined any opportunity to enjoy the ambiance, drinks and food. Other guest came by sat down for 1 to 2 minutes and quickly departed. When this was shared with the restaurant's serving team, at the same time requested for the check, nothing was done not even an apology. Server did inform us the large party were friends of the owner, their children and the owners kids. SERIOUSLY???? When reviewing businesses, I tend to not provide any negative feedback. This was the first time I left angry, from an establishment in the food service industry. NOT A PLACE THAT VALUES THEIR PATRONS AND UNDERSTANDS HOW TO KEEP CUSTOMERS FROM RETURNING. This is a great addition to the Thornton Park area. The wide variety of tequila here isn't the only thing that is impressive. The food here is not just your ordinary run-of-the-mill Mexican, it has a certain modern artistic flair that is both tasty and exciting!

Good salsa and chips is always a good sign. Entrees were excellent. Chicken bowl with guac was delicious. Hope this place stays around because the food is great.

I REALLY wanted to think this place, but sadly it is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a while. I went when they first open and found the service and the food to be terrible. But I wanted to write it off as them being new and still had some kinks to work out. I tried this restaurant out again a few months later and it was even more disappointed than the first time. The service was terrible, getting our drinks took forever, our food took forever and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. We sat at a table of 5, and two meals came out completely cold and had to be sent back. One person's meal was over cooked, another's food came out so late that I got my recooked order before they even got their meal, and another person's meal didn't come out at all. The quality of the food it pretty terrible, bland and tasteless. You can tell whoever created the menu doesn't have any experience when it comes to Mexican dining and flavors. We were never offered refills, nor did a manager come to our table. After giving this place 2 chances, I can say neither myself or my friends will be visiting again. I give it a few months before they go out of business.

I was so excited when a Mexican spot moved in, but was disappointed when I finally checked it out. We came by around 8pm and it wasn't too busy. Sat at the bar first, but we weren't acknowledged and it was so bright we decided to move to a table. Our server was amazing and totally in the weeds, but kept a great attitude. I ordered a mezcal marg and what I got was disgusting!! And did not taste anything like a mezcal, but sour mix from concentrate. Ordered a spicy marg, although slightly better than the mezcal, still gross. Finally deciding to give up on mixed drinks I ordered a corona in a bottle but received a draft. The shrimp ceviche was a bowl of diced, over cooked shrimp-that's it. Nothing else-it was gross. Veggie tacos-gross, oily and cold. The only thing I enjoyed was the corn. Will never go back.

I went Friday night w my girlfriends They have a great option for vegetarian House tequila delicious I got 4 shots and because we have another party if not I should Order 4 more lol!! And 3 watermelon margarita!! I order the veggie taco and guacamole !! Awesome food!! La atmosphere great I told the waiter if he can put a little bit of the music that We like and he did!!!! Thank you!! I forgot his name but I remember his awesome service and how great he take care of all of us!!! Specially w the bday girl . He told her Tell me how you want you drink and he bring her cocktail the way she order !!! See you soon guys!

This place is incredible! First, the service is always incredible! Preston behind the bar is our favorite bartender anywhere! But the food also will not disappoint, we go at least once a week! Really meaty tacos, fresh crispy shells, just tastes quality! Legit one of my favorite places period!
