Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Maybe it was the time of day that we came, but the service was terrible until about 30 minutes into our meal when another server came on shift and turned things around. Service aside, they had no carbonated beverages so, I didn't get to have the cocktail I wanted and neither did my friend who I was dining with. There's a grocery store about 100 feet from the restaurant, so I don't understand why the manager didn't simply go buy some soda, tonic water, Coke, etc. That seems like a management issue. My Caesar salad came with very spicy croutons. There was no mention on the menu that the salad was spicy or I would not have ordered it! I had to trade it for a different salad because I'm a lightweight when it comes to spicy foods. From that point forward, the food was good. I had the baby back ribs with Mexican corn and a piece of creme Brule cheesecake for dessert. My friend had the salmon and enjoyed that. We ate outside, but walked through the inside to get there. The restaurant was empty because it was between lunch and dinner service. It was very nice though and the alcohol display behind the inside bar was something to see! It was beautiful! I'd probably go back for cocktails, but not for dinner though.

The food was good, but the ambience was more of a regular chain restaurant with nothing too special going on 

Food was delicious. Service was very slow. It seemed like our waitress was running all over the restaurant. I ordered a cocktail and my friend ordered a beer. Took a long time to come. Got an appetizer before the drinks. The manager delivered one of the apps so I asked about the drinks. Finally got those. Our waitress was really good. It just seemed like she was stretched far. The table near us was extremely loud. Other than that, it's a lovely place and we will continue to go back.

Went there for Valentines Day, perfect place to take my date! Brittany was an awesome server, couldn't have asked for anything more. I had to see the manager and let her know of my favorable experience especially for our first time!

After dining at Firebirds for the first time in December and loving it, I was excited to go again for Valentine’s Day. However our experience was much different, we were seated on the outside patio where there was about 4 servers and it still took almost ten minutes to even be greeted with there being only about 5 tables out there at the time. Once ordering our appetizer stiffed quickly, but our salads ordered as apps never arrived. They arrived at the same time as our meal which took quite some time , mine being wrong and then one of our entrees being sent out wrong as well. We waited about 30 minutes for the right entree to arrive. Server would continuously apologize, and she was very nice about it all. A manger briefly came over and apologized but from that we will still waited another twenty minutes for the correct meal to arrive. I always try to give places some grace especially on busy holidays such as Valentine’s Day but when you’re spending $180 and every aspect of your meal isn’t right you at least expect a little something to be done in return for the mishap… nope only my salad was taken off the bill. A little disappointed after being so exited to return.

Seamless evening! Malachi was our server and he was very professional and attentive. He always seemed to show up right when needed him without him “pestering “. Great experience and I be definitely be back. The food was very good and wine was delicious.

I want to start by saying that we had amazing service. Frances was just a lovely, lovely server and had the best energy and attitude. If we ever come back, it will be because she was such a delight.

The food was just so mediocre, especially for the prices. The sirloin was not good and the filet was a little better but still not great. The best thing we had by far was the chocolate cake. I was definitely disappointed with the food.

The excellent service we had with Frances is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars because she really saved the experience.

I went in with my boyfriend for a Wednesday night dinner. Our servers, Alex and Tyrell were so attentive and polite. They were willing to give recommendations, they always asked if we were satisfied with our meal, they were sure to send us off with to-go drinks and bread. The manager even did a round to check on the customers! It was the best service I’ve ever experienced.

The atmosphere was beautiful and so spacious. There’s a huge jar of pineapple on the bar, and it is NOT just for show. On recommendation, I ordered a double black diamond martini, which Alex made in front of me. It came with a pineapple wedge and was the right amount of sweet.

We had the lobster spinach queso which was amazing, 10/10. I’m definitely ordering it again, and you have to try dipping the bread in it. I ordered the salmon and my boyfriend got the New York strip. I don’t even like steak because the texture always unsettles me but I tried a bite anyway and was pleasantly surprised. My salmon was delicious and I could taste the fact that it was wood-fired. My boyfriend’s steak fries were great, and the portions didn’t disappoint. Everything we had was made in house and you could definitely taste the difference. We were stuffed, but couldn’t help but order a slice of chocolate cake for dessert to go. Definitely recommend! This was only my first time there but the lobster queso and chocolate cake are must-haves.

Did I mention our servers were amazing?!? They promptly asked about any allergies or dietary restrictions and frequently checked in on how the food was and if we needed anything. We didn’t have any dietary restrictions, but even still Alex was completely knowledgeable of the menu and could name common allergens and any substitutes. The restaurant was great, but the employees were simply top-notch. We’ll be coming back for Valentine’s day!

Service was ok. Food was mediocre for the price I’m not saying it’s amazing. Nor is it the worst. Just. Knock like $5 off each item and you got something good here. Oh and bring a coat. The AC blows right on you consistently

If you are going to pick up an order, be ready to wait forever. It is the slowest restaurant I have ever seen.
