Enjoyed my food here. Very nice outdoor seating area with lots of different areas with different views. Always a good place to grab food in Animal Kingdom.

Stopped at Flame Tree Barbeque in Animal Kingdom for an early lunch today, and we were immediately struck by how curt, rude and unresponsive the guy taking our order was. The receipt states that his name is Aren, and throughout the entire process he barely glanced at us as he took our order in response to his barked prompts whilst wearing the look upon his face that suggested that his employer haf confiscated his passport and was forcing him to man the till against his will. At one point I asked him where we went to collect our order and he actually raised his hand and extended his finger as if training a dog to respond to his gesture. Utterly ignorant and thoroughly unprofessional

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food is extremely overpriced for the quality, and the service was honestly terrible. The staff treated people with zero respect — it felt like they didn’t want to be there or care about the guests at all. I even had to ask multiple times for napkins and they refuse to get me any. For a place inside Disney, I expected a much higher standard. Definitely not worth the money or the attitude.

I ordered food here, and honestly, it wasn’t great for the price. When I politely asked for some napkins, I was told, “We are not allowed to,” which was surprising and disappointing. The staff could definitely be more professional and attentive to customer needs.

The food was delicious! Really great smoked flavor, large portions, and didn't seem too high priced compared to some of the meals around here. My only complaint was the kids meal, very small portion and no opportunity to sub something out, you get a cookie and an orange.

They have good, convenient, and filling food and a nice, pleasant, and large covered eating area by the lake. I really enjoy watching the different musical water events. I wish to try their half chicken with beans and slaw.

Yuuuuuckkk! Ordered half chicken (gluten free) and it was your typical “southern BBQ” sweet kind of seasoned chicken. Sweet on the outside and absolutely no flavor on the inside.
Furthermore I have an allergic reaction from it with hives and feel nauseous. Probably the silicone dioxide in the seasoning.
Fries were good though.

Chicken was very tasty as well as the coleslaw. I wish the seats were wiped down after the rain. They were still wet hours later. I wish seating was not blocked off so there were more places to sit.

Food and Service was great! HOWEVER the birds are ridiculous. the bird jumped on my table and took my food and also my friends. The workers immediately offered to replace it. Just beware especially if you don’t like birds. We tried waving our hands to get them away but they aren’t scared of humans.

A little on the pricier side... $18.99 for the most expensive sampler meal.. food was great, service was great as well.

No indoor seating so it made it a little difficult eating a pork, rib, chicken dish in the 110 degree heat. There was a canopy that provided shade.

We would eat here again as the food was really tasty!

The vegan burnt ends were super good! Slaw also nice. Drinks lovely. Needed the bbq sauce
