On vacation and excited when we saw a Friendly’s, our closed 10 years ago and was excited for some nostalgia and ice cream. That excitement quickly ended when we sat for 10 mins before anyone came to table for drinks and food, then people coming in after got served food before us, after waiting 40 minutes for a burger and grilled chicken with the server checking in once and a manager ignoring us we walked out without ever getting our food. I will definitely NEVER return to this location if I’m back in this area and not sure I will try to find one to go get that nostalgia feeling! Additionally if you’re going to use a credit card they do have a sign that it will be a 2.5% credit card fee.

It had been a long time since I found a Friendly's. Most of the up north ones closed. It is still one of my favorite diner. Honey BBQ super melts are still that amazing. Really missing the Friendly's in Plattsburgh !
Parking: Was really easy to park.
Kid-friendliness: Kids loves it. My son said the mint ice cream from the monster mash is the best ice cream that he ever tasted in the world !

Sorry but just walked into the entrance of the restaurant and the smell and state of the carpet made us walk straight back out. It might be a great place, but personally we could not get past the initial impression.

Great restuarant to visit with the whole family. The fresh baked cookies were a hit with my daughter. Beautiful spot everything is brand new. The staff was fast and friendly! A go to for busy families in the area or on vacation!

It took 10 mins for them to realize we were waiting to be seated. Our waitress was trying to walk away before we finished telling her what we wanted. After telling her twice about ranch, she still forgot the ranch, and if she had stuck around 5 more mins, she could have placed our order at the same time. The best part they were not even busy. The mini cheese sticks were great, hopefully our bacon burger is great
I asked the waiter if I could sub a salad instead of fries. He said no, and proceeded to tell us “the salad stuff isn’t looking good right now anyways” ? the hair on my neck stood up.. At first, I took it for sarcasm, but quickly realized he was just very blunt. Wrong orders and poor communication among the staff. Pulling hair to get drinks refilled, even though it was dead inside. Well over the median price for a burger joint. Look elsewhere. Side note… probably don't order the salad.
We enjoyed our time at Friendly's. The food and service were excellent. Our server Daimar B was superb....thank you for the exceptional service. Years ago I worked several times for the original founder Pres Blake.....Daimar would have made him proud of her service.

So disappointed! The place smells like sewage inside, couldn't stay. Health Department should close this place down. It's time for the carpets to be replaced. Looks like there's some kind of repair going on inside.

Not gonna lie. We walked in- waited for about 2 minutes for a table and walked out. (Place was empty)
It’s too bad when a place is mismanaged. Crane games out of order. No one there to greet customers. Ceiling tiles have leak spots. Vents are dusty. Light bulbs burnt out. Carpet dirty. And that’s the front of house..
We decided to walk out before getting a table because of the lack of care and attention to the place. Can only imagine what back of house is like.
The place is just dated, like no updates have been done since the 90s.
I hate to say it bc Friendly’s in the north east are great, but not here. It was depressing?
