The prices are really Disney. Diner for 5 ran over $350.00 without the tip. While regular Disney employees work there now, the waitress was German and spoke it.

The bakery products are all super delicious and tasty and quite original as you would find them in Germany. You can save yourself the trip overseas if you are looking for something special. All goodies were much appreciated during Thanksgiving.

Kind of underwhelming. Tiny spot in the middle of nowhere, the bakery is literally the size of a bathroom. The pretzels are frozen and reheated and most of the pastries are old and dry. The lady at the front is superb and the customer service is amazing but overall this place is nothing to write home about. The bee sting is amazing but you can tell its days old.

Terrific little German bakery. Bread is fresh and full of flavor. Rueben sandwich was one of the best I have had in a while. Pastries are delicious. I will be back.

Was so glad to see this place. Ordered pastries from the case. All we're old and underwhelming. Bread we bought was old and we had to throw out. Weiner in the case were the best we've ever had. Three stars for the hotdogs the rest garbage $48. If your items are old and stale throw them out.
Cute little bakery with fresh bread (mostly sold out during my pre-holiday visit), breakfast, lunch, pastries and cakes and some other German items (meats/cheeses/spices). The parking was a bit tricky off a busy road with only a few spots allocated for Backhaus...but it was worth the hassle as the streusel was very good! I wish they still had some eggnog cake to try too!Great local spot!

Just outside of downtown Mount Dora you'll find this cute, amazing place. My sister and I always look forward to going in there when we're in town. They have great bakery items!
