9/10 banana bread cookie. Good banana flavor. Moist cookie dough type center. The mixing don’t overwhelm the cookie. Tasty candied walnuts. No bitterness (Levains regular cookie is ruined by bitter skins imo). Chocolate is just a little too sweet. Like the combo of dark chocolate and semisweet but I think there could maybe be a bit less semi and more dark.
8/10 Frankenstein. Maybe if I had more I’d rate higher. I wish it was a chocolate cookie base like I’d thought tho. Texture is great.
Strong 6/10 peanut butter. Needs something else bc a bit one note. Pb crunchies are good for texture but I want another flavor probably. Chocolate is the obvious answer but they prob need more no chocolate options on the menu.
Gideon's Bakehouse is a fantastic bakery that specializes in hand made cookies.
The cookies are wonderfully buttery with a variety of flavours. The best part is that the cookies are not as sweet as they look with a great balance of flavours.
A nice touch is the shop is well decorated with Victorian era antiques and decor.
There is a six cookies maximum per person in-store without a preorder.

If you don’t wanna do the lines in Disney Springs and you’re OK with a drive then this is definitely worth it. The food is exquisite. The cookies are amazing and a shorter line. The line was running very smoothly. Good times if you’re visiting this is the location you wanna go .

Unpopular opinion: cookies are not THAT good. The atmosphere is great and staff were super. Line does move quickly.
I tried the chocolate chip and there’s wayyy too many chips to cookie ratio. The cookie was moist, but I think a lot of that had to do with the massive amount of chocolate. I’d guess they use semi-sweet chips because it wasn’t overly sweet. I’m glad I tried it to see the secretive inside, but I’ve had better cookies

Waited 45 minutes on line to purchase cookies and coffee. The cookies are half pound each. Good decent cookies.

Took a second to find a place to park and then find the shop. We parked on the street as this is a building full of shops in a marketplace style. There was barely a line at 130 in the afternoon on a Sunday. It was clearly marked where to line up and the decor is amazing. Super cute and mysterious! The cashier was super sweet and asked us if we had been there before. We said no and she took her time explaining everything. We ordered our cookies and she asked if we were local then gave us area recommendations. She was so amazing! The cookies were to die for! So good! So worth the trip!

Unfortunately after waiting in very long line, was informed these cookies and desserts are not allergen friendly (peanut allergy). Wish they could accommodate like most ice cream parlor or bakeries or atleast tell people before they waste an hour of precious vacation time standing in line.
Was also told they dont make them fresh and get shipped in so no way to guarantee they aren't contaminated.

The decorations and ambience of this bakery are amazing! The line wasn’t too long when we went and the chocolate chip cookie was great. I would say that it was very sweet and one is enough for two people. They also had seasonal pumpkin cold brew and it was amazing.

This is my 2nd visit, which was a total disappointment from the 1st. The cake slices are big, but most of it was frosting and the cake was extremely dry. I won't be revisiting.
Fantastic

Ok I honestly have no clue why the demand for this place is so high. The two cookies I got were underwhelming / disappointing. Crumbl is worlds better in my opinion.
If looking for dessert in Disney springs, Sprinkles cupcakes is a much superior choice to Gideon’s.
