Giovanni's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

The food was delicious .Karla the best server ever was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure our table was well taken care of throughout the night. She gave great recommendations for appetizers and drinks. Speaking of drinks, the bartender, Jonathan , was incredible! Their cocktails were perfectly balanced my favorite limon drop martini and complemented the meal beautifully.

We dined on a Wednesday evening. Thee place was not busy. We ordered an order of garlic knots, a personal cheese pizza, a personal supreme pizza, and an order of the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken with an iced tea and club soda. The fettuccine included a soup or salad. My wife chose the minestrone soup. The soup was reheated and came out luke warm. The garlic knots were the same, luke warm. Thee pizzas were okay. Nothing to rave about. The food at this dining establishment is good if you are drunk and can't notice. Our server was nice and polite. The total bill with tip was $74. We were not impressed and left disappointed. The only reason this place has business is because it's the only pizzeria in the area with a full bar without having to go into Lake Nona and because it's right next to a hotel. The guests from the hotel go there to get their drink on. If you want good pizza and Italian pasta you can definitely do better than Giovanni's.

this experience was unbelievable. I ordered a personal cheese pizza at 5:30 PM and I was told 20 minutes so I showed up at 6 PM when I showed up I was told that the pizza had 5 minutes left. I then ended up waiting till 6:30 PM to get my personal size pizza. The service there was not good as they do not pay attention to the customers. I don’t believe it is fair that I was told a large table just got sat when I ordered over an hour ago and all of their pizzas were put in before my one personal sized pizza.

A hidden Italian gem close to home! Giovanni's has a great menu with everything you would expect from a pizzaria with a prominant touch of its Italian roots, making it into a true Italian restaurant here in Orlando. This restaurant stands out for their quality of food, menu options, and presentation. The kitchen was much larger than I would expect, the dinning area was pleasant with booths and a full service bar. The service staff was also phenomenal; quick and accurate, there was nothing we needed to ask for as everything was brought to the table ahead of the food. We ordered the Primo Calzone, Garlic Knots, Calamari, personal Bianca pizza, and Tiramisu. Started with the garlic knots, the bread was freshly baked, and garlic was not overpowering or too much oil, just perfect. The Knots come with a homemade marinara to dip them in. Between me and my partner, we seemed to he racing to eat more than the other because they were just so good. We also had the Calamari. It was prepared well and had a good flavor. It came with the tentacles and the rings as I know for some the information matters when ordering Calamari in a restaurant. We ordered an expresso martini, which was just what we were craving. The Primo Calzone was huge! It's much larger than I expected, and I ended up sharing it and taking some home after. The quality in their cheese speaks volume on its own, but every ingredient inside were all fresh, I said nothing for my first few bites as I enjoyed the food and space around us! We were very full from everything, so we took a Tiramisu home. We ate the Tiramisu once we got home, and wow, after every bite was a smooth explosion of sweet flavor. My only regret is that we did not get more.

I am in awe at what a great experience we had. First, reservation process was easy. Second, the restaurant (including restrooms) was clean and lovely.

But, oh! The food! The service! I had the Chicken Marsala with the House Salad, and Tiramisu for dessert. We also had Brushetta, Garlic Knots, and Cheese Bread for appetizers. Everything was delicious.

It seems these days, with fast food and processed food, we actually forget that authentic Italian food -- made really well with excellent ingredients -- is far superior to any other choice.

I have to say that this was my birthday meal! All of my children and grandchildren were there, and the server made us feel so welcome. What a great celebration! The family all raved at my choice of Giovanni's and are making their own plans to return.

If you're craving that magical Mediterranean fare, look no further than Giovanni's.

I have been a customer for years and lately the food seems to be going downhill. Today the wings were overcooked and super salty. The pizza isn’t the same either. The cheese has a different taste.

Ordered gluten free pasta but when it arrived it was not penne as the app stated. My fiance called the store and she told him it was gluten free spaghetti. I called back and spoke with a supervisor who confirmed the penne was the only gluten free option and what I had was not gluten free. The manager offered store credit but I explained we had evacuated from Tampa and couldn't drive to get it which is why we had ordered delivery. So now we don't have the food and have no way to get store credit without driving 30min each way. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
