My family and I visited this Golden Corral on December 1st, 2025, from about 6 PM to 7 PM. Everything was fine until the end of the visit, when I had an uncomfortable encounter with one of the servers.

After my family went to the car, a Hispanic male server (approximately mid-40s to early 50s, dark hair with some grey, clean shaven, around 5’7–5’9 with an average build) approached me alone near the exit and told me that Golden Corral ‘expects tips.’ He had brought our drinks once and cleared plates, but offered very minimal service overall.

My family was shocked when I told them, and they questioned why he didn’t say anything while we were all together. I was polite, smiled, and thanked him, and even reached for my wallet to tip him, but he walked away immediately before I could respond. The interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessary.

Tips should never be demanded at a buffet-style restaurant, especially in this manner. I hope management addresses this behavior so other guests don’t experience the same thing.

By far the best GC out there. Stopped in for Thanksgiving dinner. No stress, no lines, very good food, very friendly staff. Will visit again.

Very good food at this location, including the carrot cake! Steak was better than other GCs. Great variety of dishes. Typical GC 'decor' - they need to upgrade the interiors of all GCs. Definitely worth a visit.

We decided to call prior to our Thanksgiving meal to inquire we asked a few questions and the manager was phenomenal as he stated no problem he is here to help. We arrived to see a line out the door but, it was moving quickly due to the manager being on point. I don’t recall his name but, he was working so hard and diligently I wish I could steal him for my company he was that outstanding. Our server Phanie although. quite busy made sure to keep checking on us cleaning up our plates and getting us refills with no issues. The food was fresh, plentiful and tasted wonderfully as I can’t recall one dish that was bad. I highly recommend this location.

Although it was a busy Thanksgiving rush, the staff was polite and professional. The turkey was moist and delicious, as were the sides. I enjoyed mashed potatoes, stuffing, and vegetables. All food was well stocked fresh.

There was a line wrapped around the door being Thanksgiving they got us in and seated quickly. Food was fresh and hot. Staff friendly

This was the best Golden Corral I have to in many years. My family and I went for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic.
