Just sad honestly. Went for brunch and there were 3 other tables seated. One waiter for all tables (Brian?) who was very friendly and trying hard. Order took forever to arrive. When it did, turns out it’s a Courtyard breakfast marked up to high-end Marriott pricing. Carpenter was dirty and EVERY chair in the restaurant had ripped seats. My son asked if that was their design. Tables were beat up and just looked awful. For a Marriott it was shocking to see. If you want an overpriced drink looking over a golf course - sure. If you’re looking for good food and relaxing place to eat - keep going. Eggs arrived cold with cheese not melted, and bacon was very undercooked. Short of our waiter, the rest of the staff gave off the vibe that they’d rather be at the DMV or dentist office. Breakfast for 3 adults and 1 child was over $140.
We couldn't eat here as we arrived and saw the restaurant almost empty, dozens of free tables, and they said it would be a 20 minute wait, and they would only have a high top table, which they pointed to and it was free.. why the 20 min wait then? Staff did not seem particularly interested in helping guests.
Good and delicious breakfast.
They have a nice room, wonderful service and a delicious eggs benedict! Their coffee leaves something to be desired, but otherwise a great experience for breakfast. Major golf club vibes (of course).
Made reservations at 1pm for Mother’s 1/2025.
First- the restaurant had no one in it. Walked inside and there was no hostess. Stood there for two minutes before the hostess walked up. Did not greet us. Just asked if we wanted inside or outside and if inside, by a window.
We noted that the inside was not only dark, but freezing. The seats in the back, also have cracked leather, like they are deteriorating.
We sit down and wait for TEN minutes before being assisted for drinks. We were just about to leave when the gentlemen (server?) from the BAR assisted us. Which was odd.
He gave us his name and went straight to asking us what we wanted for drinks. Didn’t explain where the buffet was or offer us anything else…
We went to the buffet and upon inspection of the food noticed the biscuits and eggs looked like they had been sitting out a while, same with the prime rib and the ham.
In addition, for a $70 a person buffet, there were HARDLY any options. There were NO waffles, pancakes, or many lunch options.
Most brunch buffets at least have cheeses, more meat, and sides.
It was a small buffet and no one was there making sure the food was being rotated. We sat down and immediately noticed the eggs and biscuit were hard, the roast beef was lukewarm, the salmon was hardly flavored and lukewarm. Overall bland and dissatisfying.
The waiter stopped by and got our plates but didn’t ask if we needed anything or new beverages.
He then provided the check and THEN offered free mimosas. At that point we wanted to leave and just took them to go.
When walking out we noticed several (3) staff standing by the service area by the buffet, not doing anything (this did NOT include the bartender who served our table). The hostess was on her phone and stated goodbye as we were out the door.
Total cost: $263.91… they added gratuity and tax.
We spoke with the manager at the front desk who connected us with the restaurant manager and did not offer us a refund. Just an apology…
Well an apology doesn’t cut it for this price.
We are not local to the area and traveled a long way to get here.
I am not sure if staff think the guests who come here are made of money, but we saved and have waited a long time for a vacation.
For a fine dining restaurant this is unacceptable. Please do better.
Not as expected. It looks a great and formal place with high quality food and service but it was disappointing athletes for breakfast. The service was not great, but this could be just the server that was in charge at that time. However, the coffee was not great and had an oily flavor. Not recommended.
What a great dinner. Ashley provided perfect attentive service !!!
Great drinks and supper. Very accomodating.
Beautiful location, food was not good. Caesar salad was amazing. Crab cake was good. Chicken dish was ok, caprese salad good, shrimp scampi was beyond awful. Smelled like Lipton soup mix. Calamari overdone. Overall not the best but if you stay away from the shrimp scampi it’s an ok place.
Server was great. No bartender for a Friday night dinner was kind of weird. Medium rare steak was cooked medium well.

Ate the Grille twice. Lunch was wonderful. The hamburger was prepared a perfect medium and French fries are awesome. Dinner was short ribs, the sauce was excellent and ribs tender. Would definitely order again. Servers were attentive and hel0ful. Love the menu.
You only get 1 short rib for $35. It was very good but serving was too small. Pasta was great. Sat at bar and the bartender was slow to acknowledge us but we think he was very busy. We would go back for sure.
Want to enjoy a nice meal overlooking a golf course? You can't beat the Grille at the Grand Vista! Early morning breakfast is what we did and the ambiance was perfect. The staff is AMAZEBALLS! They take care of everything just as you require...including fantastic morning drinks! Little extra booze...no problem!
Employees are kind and courteous- but the food here is aawwfffullll. It tastes like days old defrosted artificially flavored food that is not even warmed through thoroughly (I had the boneless buffalo wings and the brisket Mac n cheese in particular). It made me nauseous. I paid for my meal, went back to my room and puked it out. Goodness it was that bad.
