My family came to Orlando this so we could go to Epic Universe which was awesome! Once we finished there we did a Google search for nearby places to eat. The Half Barrel Beer Project came up as a top search, not only being incredibly close (across the street!) but has hundreds of 5 star review so we were sold. Upon walking in, Courtney the bartender greeted us immediately, asked if we had been there before and gave us the run-down about the impressive beer selection, open seating...
Great bar foods and amazing selection of beers. The absolute best sours I've ever had. My wife hates sours and she loved the two they had on tap. Lmao.Giant pretzel is always a must. And a plus during our trip was the F1 racing they had going on and everyone was so welcoming.
The food and drinks are fantastic, and the atmosphere is even better! You immediately feel a sense of community and a warm welcome the moment you arrive. With a wide selection of drinks (both alcoholic and non) and amazing food — especially the chicken nachos and cheese curds — this place is a must. The owners and staff are wonderful, and it’s definitely worth a visit whether you’re local or visiting the amusement parks.
